The Governor does not necessarily have to discus with the President on the matter. It is his state's affair. You sound like someone who doesn't understand how things operate politically. When Sanusi was installed, Kwanakaso and Kano state never agreed with the Jonathan Government it was even against the wish of the Presidenxy then.

He specifically thanked Tinubu and said many people pressurized him to interfere in the affairs of Kano emirate but he did not oblige them. Sanusi himself mentioned that without Tinubu not interfering with this, it wouldn’t have been possible.

Tinubu is very strong but he is not a soldier. One thing I understand about him is that he is democratic to the core. That guy handle stuffs differently as the military politicians do.

Same thing is happening in Rivers. Wike call for Tinubu to interfere with federal might was not pick up.
