1. The report says the attack on the soldier was unprovoked. Please, what caused the attack? Prove that it was unprovoked. 2. The report calls for the closure of a shop and for the arrest of the shop owner. No wahala. But what about the woman that was allegedly slapped by soldiers? No justice for her or was she not assaulted? 3. Is the military police supposed to arrest and or detain a civilian? |

I drove passed banned junction today heading to area11 and I didn't even notice anything. But we keep shut about things like this alot in Nigeria. The military are not constituted to have direct power on civilians but to the government. Whatever act was taken against the officer, giving the police a chance to investigate properly and by now those culprits would've been arrested. |

Senseless fools WHY WILL THE 2 ARRESTED PERSONS BY HANDED OVER TO THE HEADQUARTERS OF THE MILITARY POLICE ? Are they military officers? I don't blame them, I blame the idìot head who can't caution or call them to order. |

...which person in his right senses publicly attacks a uniform person and expects applause.... irrespective of their short comings atimes, they actually deserve our gratitude for their numerous sacrifices for the peace and freedom we enjoy as citizens...... If you're in doubt of their contributions visit a war torn country, you'll appreciate their efforts more |

I still cannot wrap my head around people beating up security personnel in uniform. What if he brought out a gun in and gunned someone down in self defence? Would it not have spread like wildfire of how trigger happy military men kill defenseless citizens and go scot free?? ![]() |

The Nigerian army keeps making the wrong news headlines thereby giving itself a negative image, no wonder they can't meet their recruitment targets as most youths wouldn't want to be associated with them. |

How I wish this guys acted this way when one of their officers was killed in Borno by BH instead grown men were seen on video crying like babies... No threats to BH, no issuance of statements like this. Again, two months ago in Niger State, soldiers were seen retreating after stepping on a landmine...there was no statements or threats against the perpetrators. NA, Make una dey do well o |

It must be reiterated that acts of violence against military personnel are not only condemnable but also pose a significant threat to national security and public orderBut it's normal for military personnel's to be violent against civilians. |

Soldiers should switch off their baracks gra gra when they are among civilians (partly why I advice soldiers to rent off baracks if they have family because they brutalize each other anyhow, that is not normal life). |

BondRiv:Are they cowards? I don't think so. What was the military doing in a civilian environment? Most of you don't use your head to understand that actions comes with reactions. What was the action that caused the reaction no one wants to talk about that. |
