1.
The report says the attack on the soldier was unprovoked. Please, what caused the attack? Prove that it was unprovoked.

2.
The report calls for the closure of a shop and for the arrest of the shop owner. No wahala. But what about the woman that was allegedly slapped by soldiers? No justice for her or was she not assaulted?

3.
Is the military police supposed to arrest or detain a civilian?
I really wonder what Nigeria has turned into. The military is supposed to have handed over perpetrators over to the police. It is not their duty to investigate or prosecute these individuals.

I still cannot wrap my head around people beating up security personnel in uniform.

What if he brought out a gun in and gunned someone down in self defence? Would it not have spread like wildfire of how trigger happy military men kill defenseless citizens and go scot free?? undecided
Were e they there for official duty or for thuggery work? They were beaten up like thugs, by thugs Because at that point, that's all they were.

Closing the shop of the person involved in the fracas should be what they would have done not Closing the whole plaza

Why punish the innocent who knew nothing about the said issue
Why should they close his shop? Is that what the military has been reduced to?
Re: Army Reacts To Opening Of Banex Plaza by Fr33born(m): 11:25pm On May 27, 2024
Every sensible person is against the lockup of the whole Plaza except Reno Omokiri and APC ZoneBs.

And the reason Reno is in support of the lockup of the Plaza is because Peter Obi condemned it.
Had it been Peter Obi supported it, he would have condemned it 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Are they cowards? I don't think so. What was the military doing in a civilian environment? Most of you don't use your head to understand that actions comes with reactions. What was the action that caused the reaction no one wants to talk about that.
Maybe you should open a military market for them since they’re not humans.
You don’t know how phone sellers behave, they’ll knowingly sell you a bad phone, sometimes they switch products while packaging….. come back to complain and see for yourself.
Some are just evil.

I don’t understand people again.
Someone cheated on you, you complained and they called agberos to beat you up!

Arrest that shop owner, in fact, everyone involved should be arrested and dealt with

Read your own side of the story and ask your self if what you wrote there sounds true. I asked what actions caused the reaction from the alleged sellers and you haven't said anything. A military officer can not complain to civilians and civilians start beating him up, what lead to the crises you don't want to say. You are not ready for that discussion.

Just leave Northern Nigeria out of your rubbish talk oh. If na army you wan abuse na your business. But just leave us alone. Any little issue you will start dragging the north. The north really appreciates the sacrifice of these gentlemen who have taken the courage to sacrifice their lives for the Region and country rather than take up other civilian jobs.
which people dey sacrifice for nigeria ? Nigerian army officers are the richest in the world ,they stoled so much almost all the houses in abuja are owned by retired army chiefs

Oga shut up.... I hate it when people make it looks like without the military we all would be dead,... They are contributing thier own quota just like u are contributing ur own quota in whatever field you choose or operate from for Nigeria unity and survival. So stop making it feel as if the military is more important than a civil servant or a doctor or an engineer. Every chooses his own path and career and shouldn't feel one is more important than the other

Members of the Nigerian army hate, fight and kill the masses they're meant to protect, and are thus enemies of the people.

No normal Nigerian would have any gratitude to them. What's the gratitude for, btw huh

You didn't see or read about what they did to poor, innocent villagers n those Delta and Bayelsa villages or the evil they've been doing in the Southeastern villages?

What have they done to the Fulani herdsmen that have been massacring innocent Nigerians every single day??

Maybe you're living in the sky, and hence not familiar with the brutality and acts of wickedness those bastards unleash on innocent, unarmed Nigerians on daily basis.

I wish them gruesome deaths a million times, irrespective of which part of the country they hail from.

WHY WILL THE 2 ARRESTED PERSONS BY HANDED OVER TO THE HEADQUARTERS OF THE MILITARY POLICE ?

Are they military officers?
I don't blame them, I blame the idìot head who can't caution or call them to order.
Exactly. What's a civilian's business with military police? Even if indeed they commited an offense, it was not on a military barracks. We accept too much nonsense in this country
Re: Army Reacts To Opening Of Banex Plaza by Emman08: 3:44am On May 28, 2024
Imagine the army laying siege on a civilian market.. in your home country. No kind of abuse of power wey we no go see for this country

I drove passed banned junction today heading to area11 and I didn't even notice anything.

But we keep shut about things like this alot in Nigeria. The military are not constituted to have direct power on civilians but to the government.

Whatever act was taken against the officer, giving the police a chance to investigate properly and by now those culprits would've been arrested.
Attacking men in uniform isn't only a crime, it's an act of terrorism.

Nigeria is not a normal country. It is almost as if the civilian government is in power because the military permits it.
