But his spokesmen never clashed. This is almost like an aberration. It would have been better if Bayo was allowed to publish the correction.
This one makes him look like a village gossip than a presidential spokesman

Mr Ngalele should have stopped at saying the information was not authorised.

No need to say it was false.

Throwing his colleague under the bus like that is petty and childish.

He has not covered himself in glory with this behaviour.

Especially given Mr Ngalele's own many embarrassing gaffes, including false/premature claim of UAE lifting visa ban, Maesk $600m investment, Indians coming to invest billions of dollars etc

Also, why can't Mr Onanuga check information pertaining to the President with Mr Ngalele, the President's spokesman before issuing a statement. I think they are both jostling for attention.
