EmeeNaka:They are not only meant for beautification , on high way it reflect beam of light in and out. The black absorb the light thereby reducing the reflection of light on other road users while the white reflect the light thereby increasing the reflection for a low beam of light to be able to see long sight distance. |

EmeeNaka:Black on gives the highest degree of contrast, considering our warm climate and the associated sunglare which is an issue for drivers. Also, most Nigerians behind the wheel shouldn't be driving. Someone using medicated glasses should not be a driver, according to Road use laws, but we know better. As for the concrete demarcation, I've seen Keke riders climbing kerbs to bypass roundabouts. When we have lunatics behind the wheel, such barriers are necessary. Visit these barriers after six months and you'll see where cars have "kissed" it in their impatience. Remove the barriers altogether and badasses will be doing U-turns at full speed and ramming into other vehicles and pedestrians in the process. Dem dey smash traffic controller platforms sef if the road is sufficiently narrow. Naija matter long.

EmeeNaka:In transport management, we have road construction & road marking conventions. Commonly used colors for road markings are white or yellow while the road is always black of course. |
