The comment I was looking for. I remembered having a similar issue about 8 years ago. I had to put a filter right after my well to filter the water going into the tank and also put another filter to the one going into the house. The filter from the well is regularly changed (I think every month) while the one is changed when I see its condition.

This is direct from the borehole, it's normal especially during raining season.

You'll have to use filter and other water treatment if you don't want to get something like this.

This is good, but ensure you wash inside your well/ borehole where the water come from, untill then, you never done anything

This one no dirty na. See the one for my compound. I have been living in the place(rented) for just over 2 years. There has always been dirt in the water when newly pumped One day, wifey complained that the water is smelling so we stopped using it to cook. We have been drinking sachet water. Washing it myself might just be too risky cos of the height and closeness to fence. So I asked other 2 tennants to lets contribute and give plumber money to wash. One of them was reluctant until I decided to climb the height myself to even see what was there.
