Useless Sanwo-olu. People are dying of hunger, and u are commissioning ferries, so they should ferry with empty stomachs. Lagosians don't need ferries, they need jobs, youth empowerment, and development of SMEs
Speak to your state governor as well. He's not the only governor in Nigeria

Yet, no government official will take these rides.. just like BRT buses and trains. They do a show to launch but can't bring themselves down to journey with the same masses who brought them into power

If Lagos was a country of its own most Nigerians will not be able to get visa to enter.
If Lagos is a country of her own. She won't have this sort of commerce she's brandishing about. Lagos success is tied to Nigeria's huge population. Even your governor would dare not wish for Nigeria's dissolution. Being the economic capital of the most populated black country is no mean feat.
Lagos needs Nigeria more than Nigeria needs her

At least we should commend him for this,

This can generate employment and export proceeds if managed well.

when they do good we say it and commend them, likewise when they go astray we shout out and condemn them.

If use effectively, it will reduce traffic on the lekki express.
Thank to the private sector for the collaboration.
It won't change anything. It will only give the people using Tarzan jetty more options.

No sense in your comment. Ferries have been plying waterways for more than 10 years

Once upon a time I would have believed this laughable hype (yep, nor be today una begin overhype Eko).

But, having lived and stayed in most parts of Lagos, and other African nations' cities... I just laugh and shake my head. grin

Lagos is just privileged... In terms of states where governors had to seriously dig deep to make their states up to standard, I won't even put Lasgidi in the first position.

Just imagine if Kano, Akwa-Ibom, and Anambra had the same agelong privileges bestowed on Lagos...!

Abeg, make we dey calm down with the needless hype and capping. tongue
grin see them, enemies of the state…..our p success story will continue to be a torn and a pain to your bitter soul grin……Lagos is still the most developed part of this contraption. Non of your 5plot of land is even qualified to be called a cosmopolitan city, but a state and region mile ahead of you barren region seem to be your headache cool

In the process of building this ferry, it provides employment opportunities and ease the life of people. This is youth empowerment and development which you highlighted.
We know the government have been wicked to Nigerians, but some things are still commendable. Don’t fight everything

I couldn't find AC in the extra features, let me guess it is part of the basics. Having 40 persons cramped in that small boat without air conditioning is just subpar

Great to know local capabilities are being taken higher. I hope these are properly maintained. Make overloading no just spoil the ferries because when you hear capacity of 40 passengers, that's like 80 plus or minus the two that could share the driver's seat. Trust naija.
All the same, great work Sanwo!
40 seating, 100 standing..

Great assumption...! Please, believe it if it makes your hype seem more plausible.

Sha tone down the hype abeg.

New York is far more advanced commercially and developmentally than many cities in America, but you won't hear New Yorkers making absurd statements like you Lagos residents (not even Indigenes o) make condescendingly about other states.

You won't hear Ontario residents or natives doing the same about other Canadian cities and provinces.

A lot of you Nigerians really need lessons in Nationalism and Common sense.

No offense!

Normally, I would ask you to clearly prove or point out the exact region or state I'm from (there are several in Nigeria, last time I checked), but why waste my precious time?!!

The fact that you actually believe everything good and successful begins and ends in Lagos says a lot about your exposure and experience in life.

This is why traveling is very important!

Many of you are so myopic, unexposed, and needlessly clannish...!

Such a shame!

My statement stands... Reduce the hype. Simple! tongue
