I'll advise all CAT B applicants to start seeking alternative routes and other study destinations such as Austria, France, Belgium etc

Stop misleading people and carrying out unnecessary rumours. Everything is clearly spelt out on their website. A lot of people have been bounced because of misleading information. And people should try to follow the instructions stated at the German embassy and not cutting corners this is part of the reasons why appointment is hard for us. German embassy stated that applicants who qualifies for the category A are first class students of current session.

Relax I think they are trying to collect data of those still interested in visa interview to make it faster. They gave everyone 30 days to confirm their email of availability.

You're just assuming. There's no assurance that email will make any significant effect. The opportunity card starts today and it's not even available in Nigeria. Imagine the waiting time when it's effected coupled with the pending student visas. For 3 damn weeks now no date has been issued to CAT B but CAT A applicants have been getting dates. There's little chance for any significant changes(we hope). It's best you prepare your mind because there's no sign it will get better

The queue remains the delaying factor. If you don't have patience, you can't travel to Germany from Nigeria as a category B applicant. Just chill or you can explore other options if you have to. Germany so far is worth the waiting. A lot of students in UK today who initially sought Germany wish they waited patiently for Germany.

I know the processes well from personal experience and experiences of acquaintances and friends. I will give a full essay with email attachments (responses) between me and the embassy in due time.

You guys don't read but comment for the sake of it. Initially they stated the year on the site, but now it's just written in words(last two years first-class). I advised that anyone who graduated from 2020 can apply and for sure they won't get bounced because it's still accepted at the embassy. People that graduated with first class from 2020 till date have been getting dates so far this year and none have been bouched at the gate.

For anyone reading this and you have a first class from 2020, please apply. They'll get a date in less than a week.

Hi everyone. Please I got this response from uni-assist for application to HWR Berlin. The application is supposed to be online-only

“You have only uploaded a student's copy of your transcript of records for your Bachelor's degree.
It is necessary that you submit an official transcript of records including the university's stamp and the registrar's signature.”

Does anyone know if this means that I should ask my uni to send them the transcript by post?

I tried contacting uni-assist to clarify but they just sent me the same message again.

Request for the official transcript of results from your institution. Most likely you wont be given the official copy. Your school will charge you for the delivery and they will send it to Uniassist.
Second option, search for a notary public in your area so as to notarize the student's copy you have. That can also work. In my case, i have used the notarized copy in place of the official copy. Uniassist accepted it without any issue.

I think the change in their system via email confirmation is causing these delays. Maybe we give the a little time but do you have a clue of cost of going to France and Belgium and all the rest?
