When you look at the first church in the Bible, you will see that the enemy has really infiltrated the church.

The early church sold all they had and distributed to the needy among them. And hence provided for themselves hidden heavenly bags that never failed in supply when they were in need. They "foolishly" trusted God's word to not save one's money or property but give to the needy and pile up treasures for oneself in heaven.

This wisdom of giving beyond one's means to the poor and the work of God is foolishness to this world. For they say how can a man gain more from giving out his all? But we don't know how, yet God says so. We don't know how a seed sown in a woman's womb develops bones and becomes a full human, we don't know how the seeds we sow on our lands germinate into trees. Surely there is a mystery behind these things.

Today, Christians don't believe this word. We may believe every other thing but this one. We are "wise" like the world when it comes to money and cannot understand how giving out everything we have, can erect a bank in heaven for us. Yet we are faced with other unexplained mysteries that we have accepted as natural.

It's unbelief in this truth, that has led to ministries running like an enterprise. We live in fear like the world and don't trust God because our treasures are still saved here on earth with us.
