You’re battling with inflation, devaluation and financial uncertainty and you’re closing banks with peoples’ money trapped within

There’s the option of mergers, recapitalization, management restructuring etc

Shutting it down means killing some people literally. Some closed banks payout never happened for more than 10 years

A failed Heritage bank has over half a trillion naira non performing loans (NPL), he conveniently ignored how such malfeasance in Heritage bank (where the Saraki dynasty reportedly have a controlling interest) had brought serious problem to the banking system yet he didn't mention putting those behind the huge NPL behind the bars.

Peter Obi did not condemn the liquidation of the bank he is saying that NDIC should ensure that all depositors are paid in full and that any action from the CBN and NDIC should not destabilise the economy by not ensuring the payment of customers in full considering the harsh economic climate we are in.

If that person was banking with Heritage bank he won’t have typed that.
