Corp members can't be paid below the minimum wage so I think it should

Definitely. Corp members are always paid slightly above the minimum wage everytime.

When it was 7500 dey received 9800
When it was 18000 dey received 19800
Now 30000 dey received 33000
If minimum wage becomes 100000 dey shld not get anything less than 105000

My friend back den claimed he received balance of new increment just 2 months to round up NYSC.
He was paid 9500 or 9800 den for 8 to 10 months, but when it was increased to 19800
Dey paid them remaining 10k for 10mths or so.

My heart goes to Corp members dat will round up in few months before the new minimum wage is been paid 😀😀😀
Imagine after NYSC no job and u suppose dey collect 100k plus doin less job...chaiiii

Minimum wage + 10%(minimum wage)
= 60k + 6k
= 66k

It should.. they are workers attached to PPAs, though not always so in most cases.

Imagine a fresh graduate (corper) with degree earning 33k or thereabout monthly, will buy food, buy basic necessities and pay transport fares to and fro their place of work

Then imagine another one (politician) with WAEC result (base line qualification required to be in National Assembly) earning 30 million monthly. Won't such have luxury to be buying and wasting scarce resources??

Don't let me go to aged workers with say 3-5 kids and spouse.. how will they cope with 30k minimum wage now that prices of foodstuffs and other basic needs have doubled?.
It's this self-centeredness that is killing us in Nigeria, thinking about oneself alone, not minding how other people survive.

Yes of course.. Corp members are normally above the minimum wage.

Every corp member will earn above the new minimum wage. It's constitutional and wi in turn add more value to the NYSC scheme

nah some will land some good paying job that can go in multiple of 100k.
Though some won't see a good job for a long time.that is the reality
