President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has sent his New Year message to Nigerians.

He promised that his administration will implement a new minimum wage for Nigerian workers in 2024.

Tinubu disclosed this in his New Year broadcast to Nigerians on Monday, monitored by .ng.

According to him, the economic challenges Nigerians are facing occasioned by fuel subsidy removal and exchange rate reforms will soon be a time of the past.

He assured that his government is committed to ensuring the security of all Nigerians.

“Every decision, every trip outside the shore of our land has been undertaken since my assumption of office on May 29th 2023 has been made in the country’s best interest.

“I will fight every obstacle that hinders business in Nigeria.”

“We will implement a new national minimum for Nigerian workers in this new year,” he said.

Terrorism is one of the reasons why investors will not want to come and invest in the country. It appears there's deliberate move by the government not to handle the issue.
For instance,
What happened to the intelligence gathering of Barkin-Ladi, Mangu and Bokkos attack in the eve of Christians? Is it that they never knew such could happen during December knowing fully well its has been happening during celebrations? Watch how the community would go for rephresal attack, succed and government would come and condemn the violence as usual. undecided

Fix the economy and not just increasing minimum wage. This will spur inflation.

Reduce import and encourage and set up more local industries that will cater for the needs of Nigerians.

The youths should be sent to china to learn high tech skills, then come back home and replicate them here.

This actions will conserve our foreign exchange while spending less on importation. This will make our currency strong.

We are even hoping their own bogus and fat pay packets and allowances will also meet up with the economic realities too.
