See this failed hungry amateur graphic designer...

What do you know is GIT? Idiot...failed graphic imp

I fight for politicians and you fight for what? Hate filled imbecilic sadistic nitwit...Outside your nepotistic parochial lens, what other idea will fuel someone condemning a well thought intervention by Obi to save people's investment that corporate thieves, lawyers, auditors and other scavengers have positioned to loot...

Because your wretched poverty stricken soul hasn't considered what someone with over 5M as business capital will have to go through to wait out his balance if it will ever come, when NDIC can only pay 5M max...

Do you know the protocols involved in liquidation process? How much time before a business recovers it's funds if it will ever get it? Even the cost implication to the business or individuals...

Sadistic imps like you are a mistake to life...what a waste of space
Let me educate this GIT : Foolish & unpleasant being.

I've met your godfather, Peter Obi, one on one when he came to Canada. Someone you may never meet in your life, aside from your ranting here.
Secondly, I earned my first degree at FUTA in Akure, where I studied Mining engineering 🤑😜, before I left the country. However, unfortunately for you, your life hasn't reflected reality beyond posting political talks and blindly defending your proudly Igbo people, even when it's obvious. So, get a life and do something meaningful with it.

This is my last response to you. You can go find someone else to wrestle with, like a pig wallowing in mud.🤣🤣🤣🤣

are you a depositor in Heritage Bank ?

Are you saying you’d have preferred he keeps the bank running despite their huge NPL?
Ever heard of a banking bail out?

The loan portfolio for here reach yankee?

The FEDS bailed out several banks but guaranteed the deposits. You pump in money, convert it to shares, take over majority holdings and fire management and put your own people. If you close banks due to none performing loans no bank will remain

Peter Obi, a former Chairman of a commercial bank (Fidelity Bank) has just spoken like an illiterate idiot!

First, any current or former banker; or anyone who knew anything about banking would have known that Heritage Bank had long been on "intensive care unit (ICU)" in terms of bad loans (poor asset quality) and very weak liquidity since 2017 and only CBN had been "managing" its financial health, which for all intents and purposes, was irredeemably bad!

Second, CBN or NDIC could NEVER have paid depositors 100% of their funds, no matter the emotional nonsense Peter Obi wrote here; because, by law, NDIC can only pay a maximum of N5 million per depositor. It is so clear in the NIDIC Act. In fact, the figure was much lower, until a few months ago, when the National Assembly passed an amendment to the NDIC Act, and increased the threshold payable.

How could Peter Obi make this stupid statement, all in a bid to make the Federal Government bad, and tantalize the illiterate wing of his Obidient crowd?

This is so disappointing, coming from Peter Obi, who should know!

Loads of trash!. Do you know the laws guiding NDIC?, have you ever insured a cup in your life?, i guess not. Can an insurance covers more than the value of whatever you insured?. If NDIC covers depositors funds, what is the value of the deposit covered?, would NDIC give beyond the value?. Would NDIC settle shareholders and creditors beyond the value of heritage bank's assets?. You can see how dumber you are, you're ignorant but thinking that you know. Yes, he should. He who doesn't understand the urgency of paying depositors at this critical moment in Nigerian economy is daft.

He needs to sound it to this government that is so inept. If you don't gerrit, gerrout.

Dear Ewu,
Get a life, life is too sweet, bro! Alternatively, you can just travel abroad (Japa), but then, a wretched soul like you doesn't have the means to do so. People with purpose will leave Nigeria for a better life and sound reasoning, but here you are, crying and defending politicians.

Bro you just gave a single editorial, I am not disputing that, my issue is this what PO is asking for just for NDIC to have empathy considering the economic crisis we are in. All this thing of bringing headlines to justify rubbish is not what we are talking about.
If you had an account with Heritage you will not be saying this.
I have two accounts with them; A savings and a current. I was a Full Head office staff of heritage Bank up until March 2022. So, I know what I am saying.

See , you people just assume everyone who posts here is posting out of fanatisim like you.

In April, I went to withdraw ALL my funds from HB. Even at that, maximum withdrawal per day was 20k. Withdrawal from a current account could only be done by filling a cheque.

I gave a single editorial because there was no need to give many. it's all over the internet and it trended late last month...google it and stop embarrassing yourself.

Again, you were not in tune with the story and ure here defending rubbish, reeking of obi fanatism.

And YES , U were disputing the fact that customers had difficulty accessing their funds when I mentioned it because you responded saying "Did they tell you that customers could not access their funds before CBN license revocation?"

You're the one saying nonesense without proofs. Blind obi fanatic!

Insults, insults, and more insults, after every insults, you become dumber. You have limited understanding and zero knowledge of deposit insurance and maximum covering. Be humble, learn, stop following a dumb person around at your old age. Grow up and make a better use of your brain, if any.

Just imagine, you mean Peter Obi who's everywhere, or which one exactly? 😂

But seriously, I do feel that you're being both arrogant and stupid. You're just rambling in one place, crying like a bush baby.

Can't you travel abroad and get a life? Or did you go to school to study an irrelevant course?😆

Anyway, what can I expect from someone who's stupid, arrogant, and unable to construct a simple sentence.🤣🤣🤣

How can they give them in full?

If. They try that, it won't go round to all customer.

This has been the practice for years, why does PO think it has to change

Though I feel so bad for the customers.... I am just so sad that they have to face this at this moment.. It's really unfortunate...

But it's what it is
Really? Dats terrible and needs to b attended to. Customers hard earned money.

Folding of the bank has long been heard in Nigeria this clueless Government is bringing it back what happened to bank merging why can't the CBN under this foolish administration hand that bank to another bank which is capable of handling it why total closure of the bank..... tufiakwa
Re: Heritage Bank: CBN Should Not Destabilize The Country's Financial System —Obi by 9jatriot(m): 6:46pm On Jun 04, 2024
It is because of reasons like this that informed people call him a container or corner shop economist. If the bank had depositor's money to pay out would the CBN have had to revoke their license?
Do you or does PO think the CBN just looked at HB and decided they do not like their color and so revoked their license? Where exactly is the money to pay out supposed to come from?

I am shocked that something as basic as this that they teach in SS1 first term economics subject is what Obi is using politics to tint.

For those who do not understand what the lamba king is suggesting is that, imagine someone with a third party car insurance has an accident, the equivalent of what PO is suggesting is that the insurance company should apply comprehensive insurance for someone who only has third party insurance because the country is hard.
Sensible people can see the foolishness of his proposal.
LadyExcellency:
What is new from his opinion is that Peter Obi wants them (depositors) to be paid in full instead of N5 million. Most businesses and SMEs have up to N100 million in that bank and what next? They will file for bankruptcy and more hardships.

Most of your criticism of Peter Obi is filled with bitterness and aggression because Tinubu is a failure and secondly these stem from tribalism and clannishness.
