I found these sports shoes and bicycles in a Van sent to me from the USA .

10k for the sports shoes , 75k for the bicycle

Just doing everything to recover this ambiguous custom duties .

You are right . To reduce duties , you ask them to stock the vehicles with what ever thing they can find sellable. You won’t know everything there till they get here .

I do get you now. I think it was more of a blind shopping by someone, on your behalf..It happens all the time with vehicle importation. A relative or friend doing the purchase would fill it up with valuable but affordable items that could be worth a percentage of the clearing fees.
In the nineties I had an older cousin in Belgium who sent a jean ensemble and camera to me each time he exported a Nissan Sunny. Funny thing is I never received cos he never sent..It was all lies... Lol
