BossGerald:The greedy and wicked Igbo coup of 1966 the first in Nigeria is still the reason Nigeria is where it is today. |

DMerciful:It even rose to 47billion Dollars in 2013 and then started free fall down to 28billion dollars in 2015 when he handed over to the next govt. What went wrong . question must be asked you know.we can as well say that was where the Nigeria issue started from because why will the external reserve drop all the way from 47billion dollars in 2013 down to 28billion in 2015 may handing over ,that is like almost 20billion dollar fall just in less than 2yrs.something went wrong Mr man accept it or not.

But why the obsession with creating lots of Wole Soyinka thread these days? Did this man really offend the guts of some set of people? |

Chikel20000:what went wrong oga that made foreign reserve go down from 47billion dollar in 2013 down to 28billion when he was handing over. 20billion dollars went down just in a matter of less than 2yrs. That was when Okonjo Iweala started complaining that Nigeria was borrowing money to pay salaries

SpecialAdviser:Wole Soyinka has been so honoured, elevated and celebrated globally to the extent that you and your entire kinsmen combined together can never sum up to 10% of his achievements and attainment in life. |

You mean APC cannot generate wealth? All the wealth of PDP was generated by PDP govts. I'll tell you why Buhari failed. It was because of incompetence and nepotism. Look at Buhari's ministers, no heavyweights. Look at Tinubu ministers, no heavyweight but look at Obj and Jonathan! How come the last time Nigeria did 2.4 million barrels per day export was 2015? Because Yaradua introduced amnesty for Niger Delta militants so that Nigeria can get oil in peace but fo0lish Buhari came and stopped it ozo13: |

You expect a man that'll soon clock 90 years to be running around while you and your likes hide in your bedrooms, constituting nuisance on the cyberspace. Prof. has tried his best and so should you. |

His boss is the president. He needs to stay in line. The one good thing about cultist is that they understand hierarchy. |

flokii:God or nature is wise. No one expect him to run around, but his silence speaks volume. In ten to 25 years, all of them would be gone (including Buhari). Thank God for engineering life this way. |

Melagros:Who's your father? Struggling with poverty that his voice can't be heard by humans but crickets. Una go cry tire. Yorubas led protests against Jonathan, that's some balls. If una get balls, lead same against Tinubu and stop shouting. Toothless sewer rats |

faceland:Prof. Wole Soyinka is still mentally sound and alert far more than Obi.. I was shocked to see how a Presidential aspirant was battling with speech when a 90 years old Nobel Laurette is still very sharp in his speeches. |
| Re: Hardship In Nigeria: This Rights Activist Is Missing (pix) by faceland: 8:23pm On Jun 05, 2024 |
flokii:I don't care about his state of mind or that of obi, just glad that no one would be around forever (and certain group of people, their time would soon be up, let Nigeria breath small). |

LordIsaac:Excuse me sir, are the Obidients not Nigerians? Don't they have the right to have a say in national discourse? |

Melagros:They’re Nigerians; they have a say in national discourse; and they’re the ones maligning all dissenting voices. |

DMerciful:good question but also am surprised that 20billion Dollars went away like that just under 2yrs or am I lying.one sided argument isn't good else everyone will just be blaming the next person |

You're looking at the wrong indices why the country is failing. The oil revenue is low and massive food shortages due to insecurity ozo13: |

Benwallt:Yes, my father is poor and decided to remain in his integrity, unlike your fostered father tinubu who was convicted in the USA for drug traffic, he sponsored the assassination of Funsho, he rigged 2023 election etc |

DMerciful:I don't agree with you totally.i will say the govt policies to a greater extent cause all the wahala we are seeing to a greater extent because we still had insecurity in 2021/2022 and prices of things were still much better . Secondly Nigeria wahala to me started even earlier before Buhari started base on how the foreign reserve went down by about a value of 20B dollars 2yrs before Jonathan handed over to buhari.to me I believe such a nose dive was due to pancaking of the economy by the dollars to cushion the pressure.check out the Excel graph below between February 2013 down to April/May 2015

What do you think foreign reserve is used for? Secondly, how much do you think Buhari borrowed? ozo13: |
