I’ll prefer having the Igbo parts of delta merge with Anambra to create new Anambra and parts of Anambra bordering imo to be included in the proposed orlu state.

Let new States be created and all be at 7 States within each. Thenet the States be given the power to create more LGA to ensure development meets those at the grassroots. Full autonomy for all LGAs.

Dead on Arrival just like regional govt! The thing about constitutional amendment is that it allows you to play to the gallery in the house and senate and encourage the masses.

Your real battle is the state house of assemblies in 36 states. These 2 things listed above will never see the light of day!!

There are some things that can only happen under a military govt…..creation of states, changing the governance structure etc.

The 36 states we are managing. The FG is struggling to maintain. U are now creating more states that will be a burden to FG.

The only way to create a new state is to create one in each geographical zones. Which will crumble the fragile economy

Create one in each geopolitical zone ? The creation of extra one for SE is to solve the problem of lopsidedness and make it have 6 states as other zones in Southern Nigeria where SE has the least.

And you want to make SE have the least again by making other southern zones 7 states?

The truth is that the people of the local governments added to the so called Orlu State have a similar dialect different from other parts of Anambra and Imo. However,I do not support creation of new states rather some states should merge
