I find this funny because i hated crossing that road when i used that route years ago to work, it's risky.

Chairman stop crying, they can't arrest all the goats that break law at once.

If in the middle class, please try to abide by laws as best as possible.
The really rich are above the law, the really poor are below the law (they don't bother with them, they can't pay fines, taxes etc). But the middle class are yhe perfect target, you make just enough to be able to afford fines and levies, you also have a little dignity you're trying to protect and the touts that have been put in charge of enforcement want the slightest opportunity to humiliate you.
The so called laws they make are specifically targeted at you.

Pedestrian bridge or no pedestrian bridge..do you want to sack him from his work ?...it should be automated...get their BVN immediately, give them a ticket...and proceed to the bank at the end of the day for automatic deduction of the fee from their accounts...this is 2024...

You're correct but we all know there's no database for Nigerians made available by the FG.

It's not the responsibility of Lagos State Govt to provide that.

In the mean time, they can't let their society be in ruins because the tech isn't available.

Don't mind the touts and urchins arresting people, they are selective in the arrests, they will even ask you what you do for a living and your tribe.
