Who can't pay should resign, the nonsense with these governors is becoming too much, the federal government should allow the workers deal with them small this nonsense is becoming too much, they can't pay but they can loot.

Any monthly wage lower than 120,000 Naira means these leaders want poverty-riddled citizens who they’ll employ for dirty deeds.

I’ve been saying this since my days in the university. Like it’s common sense. I was never a commercial or business student.

Increase the minimum wage to a reasonable amount; take half back and make basic necessities cheap and or free, no one will cry foul.

If you pay a cleaner 150k and take 50% from him or her while covering basic education and medical care, then subsidized transportation and drop the light bill or drop petrol price; they should pick one.

No one would cry foul. They’ll end up paying the same 60-70k the FG proposed but only just have to provide the social security that I mentioned above; which is their job in the first place.

This is the instruction given to then by the presidency so that it will be easy for them to announce 65k or there about.

If all the 36 states rejected it then what about Edo and other states that already pay higher. They want to keep wasting billions instead of paying the workforce.

They are now playing politics. This people are not thinking about you and I. $40 usd per month and they say is too high but can give 100usd to get votea of the hungry citizens.

My take is that every body no matter your political should be paid the same way, house of reps, senators chairmen, etc.

My own question is what happened to the removed subsidy? Why can't Nigerians enjoy from subsidy funds? Why is the federal government planning to borrow another $6.6 billion? why must Nigerians threaten the government with strike before they get anything; and why at all?

That's why obi should be elected as president. His exploit in managing of funds and other stuffs was superb.

They won't see enough money to steal again with payment of this minimum wage,we have selfish leaders.

All the governors in this country are criminals, looters, selfish and cruel with no compassion for the citizens they rule over.

They use the little infrastructural projects they embarked on to deceive the people that they are working, giving the workers their minute wages, dividing the rest between themselves and their intimate cronies.

They should all be giving a lifetime jail if any strongman took over power.

Wage award is not the main obstacle to salary increases. Adding N30,000 to lower-income earners doesn't mean you add the same to professors. Some will get N200000 added to theirs based on grade level in the service.
