Your current failure and disappointment are not the end of you. The Bible tells us in Proverbs 24:16 that "the righteous may fall seven times but still get up." Even though you have fallen seven times, you still have seven rises left in you.

Consider Job, who fell into severe trials, yet he rose, and his latter days were blessed more than his beginning (Job 42:12). Joseph fell to the extent of becoming a prisoner and a slave, but he rose to become the second most powerful man in Egypt (Genesis 41:41-43). Lazarus died and was in the tomb for four days, yet Jesus raised him from the dead (John 11:43-44).

If there is still redemption for dead Lazarus, you who are still alive have no reason not to rise. Ecclesiastes 9:4 reminds us, "Anyone who is among the living has hope—even a live dog is better off than a dead lion!"

I know you have been on the ground for too long, right where you fell, with no one to help you up. The good news for you today is that Christ is extending His hand to help you up, as He promises in Isaiah 41:10: "So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand."

Give Him your hand today by accepting Jesus Christ into your life. He has been standing beside you with His hand outstretched. Just give Him your hand, and He will lift you up.
