Six Governors of the South-West go-political zone are expected at the Lagos House, Alausa, Ikeja, Office of the state Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu for a crucial meeting.

As at 11.30 am, on Monday, three out of the six Governors have arrived at the state House.

Ogun State Governor, Dapo Abiodun, was said to be among the early arrivals. Others expected are Oyo State, Seyi Makinde, Osun State, Ademola Adeleke, Ondo State, Luky Aiyedatiwa and Ekiti, AbiodunOyebanji.

The crux of the meeting could not be ascertained as of press time but it was gathered that it could not be unconnected with the ongoing Minimum Wage conversation between organized Labour union and Federal Government, security situation in the region, among other urgent state matters.

After a close-door meeting, members of the state House Correspondents are expected to be briefed.

Current information have it that the closed-door meeting has commenced.

Also, by 12 noon all the governors had arrived and then went in for the meeting.

All the six SW governors are now in the meeting.

I am happy to see that the southwest governors no more rely on propaganda but are now willing to act .

During the food embargo placed on the southwest by the northerners after 3,000 hausa Fulani traders were murdered in ibadan during the END SARS SAGA, THE then GOVERNOR OF ONDO STATE CALLED FOR AN EMERGENCY MEETING.

In that meeting the southwest governors vowed that they will no more be FOOD slaves to the North,No more Entirely depending on the North for their food supply
THEY BROUGHT OUT BEAUTIFUL PLANS OF HOW THEY'LL TURN THE ENTIRE SOUTHWEST TO A GIANT MECHANIZED FARMING LANDSCAPE.
THEY ALSO SAID THE SOUTHWEST WILL NOW BECOME THE FOOD BASKET OF THE NATION AND EVEN EXPORT FOOD TO OTHER AFRICAN COUNTRIES.

But to this day the southwest produces less than 1% of what it eats, they are still food slaves to the North

Restructuring will be based on states autonomy. Regionalism died in 1967 when Gowon supported by Awolowo broke the 4 regions to 12 states.
