Why're people of the opinion that if they kill a baby creature, the mother is not far away? Snakes for e.g.
If you've stayed in environments with snakes, you'd know this doesn't apply at all.
Once a snake gives birth, after some moments the babies start to scatter away.
The mother is an adult and instinctively knows she's no friend to anyone. She goes on to hide in places you'll hardly ever find it. Especially in places with little to no regular human contact.

In my house in the village in those days, when we didn't come back to the house for like a decade, by the time we opened it, we saw massive pythons chilling inside it. Eventually, we put people in the house and the infestation reduced.
Years later, I've seen snakes in the compound during rainy season, but never seen anyone looking like a mother. All babies.

How many of you guys have ever seen a mother snake in your compound to start with?
Especially in a compound you live in.

NoahHadNoArk:
1) That’s no house snake, show us the head and skin markings. That arrow head seems like a venomous variety tho,
2) The momma is somewhere lurking and waiting for revenge, get your pest repellent today and use it judiciously.

Goodluck to you😁

P.S. I dedicate this ftc to all the people who brought in APC since 2015 till now.

May your generations unborn never suffer for your mistakes.

It’s actually snake season, at least we know that in my location. Last week Thursday, after the kids went to bed my wife decided to tidy up the kids’ room. She picked an inner vest and met this snake creeping under looking for a hideout. We killed it instantly and evacuated everyone immediately. It was scary. Happened at about 11:20pm. Imagine what would have happened if it crept up the bed or someone wanted to use the toilet and stepped on it.
mehn this one is deadly shocked shocked

brother I'm into wildlife.
You just came and took these words from my mouth.
Snakes the moment they make babies abandon them to feign and survive alone, it then retrieves to a hidden place while the babies are scattered and left to feign alone.
Snakes ain't like the regular hens or goats that takes care of it's young

How the snake take enter ur house at first?
U better relocate o cox the next one u might encounter might be an anaconda?
I burst into barrage of laughter. People are just looking at me. You bad .
Re: The Snake I Killed In My Room Around 2AM by Azazyel: 12:42pm On Jun 11, 2024
It just swallowed a rat thus it was easier for you to kill. At that point, it is docile. The snake is likely poisonous so it's good you killed it. Most small snakes are poisonous so they use their venom to incapacitate their victims before engulfing. Bigger snakes however don't use venom. They use their massive body to suffocate their victims
Re: The Snake I Killed In My Room Around 2AM by Sijo01(f): 12:43pm On Jun 11, 2024
The snake even helped you to swallow the rate in your room.

Only you get rat and snake for room! Are you a zoologist undecided
Re: The Snake I Killed In My Room Around 2AM by Calitoscassius(m): 12:44pm On Jun 11, 2024
What's a snake doing in your room? Damm undecided what attracted a snake to your room? Your room must be like a Zoo. If you look well there could be more snake in your zooroom.

The color of the snake is in line with your carpet. Perhaps, the color of your carpet attracted it to your house.
