The people running Nigerian football are not serious.
They are still using the old system of more than 3 decades of players just strolling into camp 3 days to the match because they are so called foreign professionals.

Bad politics in NFF is responsible for the poor performance of the Supper Eagles lately


The hiring of a local coach was the biggest mistake for the following reasons:

1. Local coaches are mostly inexperienced.
2. They often suffer rivalry from their counterparts in Nigeria and this lead to their downfall.
3. They're not respected by some foreign based players because there's this envy between them.
4. NFF officials easily manipulate local coaches to their advantage.

Nigeria is not matured yet to depend on local coaches. Most African countries, including poorer one opt for foreign coaches because of these reasons.

The news flash as of today shows that NFF stands with Finidi despite his leadership fiasco with the Super Eagles and clear evidence that the current coach has nothing to offer. What are his coaching credentials? It also clearly shows that the NFF officials are benefitting hugely from the contract. Guys, nobody should expect any good performance from our SEs for now until this mess in the glass house is cleaned-up!
