I read your post and I know exactly how you feel but let me tell you the truth, the Igbo Obidients saw last election more as a competition between them and their "rival" and that is why they celebrated wildly when Obi won in Lagos but quickly went toxic when Tinubu eventually won, bragging rights is more important to them than good governance. Had Obi won eventually, situations would have been similar to what we are currently seeing but the Igbos would have been chestbeating against everyone while still mocking and blaming other tribes, especially Yorubas.

They have become too toxic honestly. I don't know why they suddenly hate Yoruba people like this. Same Yoruba people who helped them severally in the past. Remember Brigadier General Adekunle AKA black scorpion who helped rescue lots of Igbo people and Igbo soldiers during the civil war. There are other examples too of how Yoruba people received them with open arms. I remember when GoodLuck Jonathan was up against Buhari during the first real tenure when buhari was still in CPC, Tinubu came out and ordered all Yorubas to vote for Jonathan. He ignored buhari who's a Muslim like him which shows that he is not a religious fanatic nor tribalistic even though Jonathan is from Bayelsa. Tinubu is actually better off as a king maker than being the king himself. So he really bleeped up in this aspect. Many igbos are always defending obi as if he's a saint. I'm not saying Obi is a bad person but I'd rather vote Soludo. There are certain things I see in Obi that are red flags. This toxicity has to stop or else Obi would keep losing every election. These people are actually marketing him in a negative manner

but the guy didn't mention obi or any other politician so why just assume he is an obi supporter....I don't know if he is but for some one like me, I really don't care what tribe or religion the president of my country is all I honestly care about is his performance. Things aren't good right now and that is a statement of fact not born out of political or religious affiliation. And I hope that someday we will all begin to see Nigeria in that way not through the spectrum of our religion or tribe but as one single entity with a clear vision of what the future could be for us all...Peace
