BossGerald:This has got nothing to do with omo ibo of a thing. If a yoruba pastor said same, you'd still call him an omo ale or ibo, just the way like your likes called baba obasanjo. Let me tell you this....Nigeria is the only country in africa that is badly hit by the global inflation. Do you know why? It's not because we're over populated, not because we're importing. As a matter of fact, there are several developed countries who import almost everything, yet are doing pretty fine. The problem are corruption and government policy , which affects you and I. How can you remove subsidy and float the naira same time? In a poor nation like Nigeria? The consequences will linger for a long time and I'd tell you how....The manufacturing sector is more badly affected. Materials imported for production at 1,400 5 naira to 1usd for instance, and stocked in warehouses won't be exhausted until after 2-3 years and if the fx rate increases, prices will only go higher and people will suffer the more. No company gets its raw materials in the country 100%. They still need to order some materials or ingredients from overseas. Someone was just lamenting yesterday, talking to himself, saying how can one piece of pepper cost 50 naira, that he bought 10 pieces for 500 naira at mile 12 market around ketu. He didn’t know he was talking to himself. That's how bad the situation is right now. If you take 2k to the market, it doesn't buy more than pepper, tomatoes and tatashe. You can't buy any protein. We never lived like this in Nigeria before...same Nigeria you and I know and have enjoyed. Naira flotation was beneficial to the rich, their friends in quote at the expense of the masses. People are suffering man! Unfortunately, even if the policy is reversed today, nothing will change until after 4-5 years. People should brace up for the unexpected. This is the best time to go into agriculture but the government will never look in that direction. There are youths who are ever ready but instead of looking their way, they'd rather channel agric loan through state governors who would only give a fraction to thehr associate amd divert the remaining. |

Blazetrailer:oga you too the vex, I know that it not all yorubas that unreasonable, if the prices of things goes down employment created business atmosphere thriving security 95% efficient who will know or bother about tinubu tribe? But amidst this massive calamity called tinubu and akpabio and Dave umahi and ododo some people will rather die suffering than accept that the are suffering because of their hatred for ibos and most of those people of the Yoruba origin so pardon if I said Yoruba, but you my bro you are rational Nigerian so don't take it personal |

Well, That's a pessimistic approach and I wouldn't fault anybody for maintaining that stance, however, even the optimists under him are becoming sceptics too. So the rat race continue. |

The Northerners tried their best but failed, the Yorubas have tried their best but also failed. It is time to witness the Igbo attempt. A new Nigeria is POssible. |

Eriokanmi:Eriokanmi is this you?😃 Longest time, what changed? You realised that you supported a failure for 8 wasted years and supported another failure back to back?? Nigerians have collective igbophobia that they'd even bury themselves alive than see an Igbo man and what they represent succeed...what you only need to do is trigger it and that's what tinubu did and you guys fell for it. You want people to go into agriculture?? Do you know the current price of fertilizer? Fulani herdsmen nko?? |
| Re: No Sign Things Will Change Under Tinubu –Archbishop Nwaobia ( Pic ) by Eriokanmi: 4:28pm On Jun 16, 2024 |
BossGerald:What changed? Nothing has changed oo. I'm still me. How's the going? I was just trying to talk to that moniker to set himself free from tribalism. Cos an Igbo pastor spoke the truth about the state of the nation, he came for igbo head. If a yoruba pastor had said same, he'd have called him either an obidient or an ipob, despite the obvious, just the same way they call us ibo cos we don't like identifying with evil. On agriculture, not everywhere is ravaged by herders. There are still safe areas down south. Despite the banditry brouhaha, vegetables still come from the north into lagos daily. Yes or no? Cheers! |

Ash Bishop of IPOB terrorist organisation has spoken .... Let give him mic to say more .... All the Igbo people will always sleep and face the same direction in politics....how will a whole region including their clergy possess high amount of fuddlity in their bloodstream.....I don't get it ...and this arr the kind of people that want to rule the country.... Just tell them about regional government, they will be quiet because they have nothing to offer them except illicit activities and deals ...... Man of Dog has spoken ..... |
| Re: No Sign Things Will Change Under Tinubu –Archbishop Nwaobia ( Pic ) by BossGerald: 4:39pm On Jun 16, 2024 |
Eriokanmi:Oh! I thought you were one of those tinubu supporters then, you know they were plenty then. The few places that herdsmen never enter in the south, how long do you think it will take be they enter?? They're in Delta state atm. Do you know how much is bag of fertilizer? Fuel and transportation etc? My dear even if you succeed at the end, you won't sell it any cheaper. Here in Anambra state, the only thing that is very cheap now is leafy vegetables, ugu, nchanwu, green etc. Even okro and pepper is now very expensive, there was a pest disease outbreak that affected...I know this cos I planted them. But a proactive government is supposed to provide pest control measures for these farmers. |
| Re: No Sign Things Will Change Under Tinubu –Archbishop Nwaobia ( Pic ) by Eriokanmi: 4:47pm On Jun 16, 2024 |
BossGerald:I understand you broda. Down south, you don't need fertilizer to grow crops. Land is naturally fertile, except in few areas. The entire south west is safe, except some parts of oyo state. I learnt makinde is on top of the situation already, a reason we've not heard of herders and farmers clashes in recent times. Transport will affect selling prices of vegetables but the impact won't be much, if grown on a large scale. |

BJanta:Some of you are irreparable and it will take special force to liberate you guys. So it is all about signs now and not government doing the right thing and bring dividends to the citizens. They say wonders shall never end, this is one of them. Eh! he should face his pulpit because the happenings in the country doesn't affect him. He buys goods at different prices because he is a pastor and he is isolated from the bad policies of government. It seems some of you doesn't think but only give blind support and refused to apply common sense when you ought to do. |

Nzogbu2012:What the bishop said Prof. Farooq Kperogi also said the same yesterday. Please is Prof. Farooq also an Igbo man? Any sensible thing said are always turned to ethnic joke by some of you. For avoidance of doubt here below is the excerpt from what the Prof said. "Vast swathes of Nigerians are being roasted alive, like never before, by the heartless, self-centered, and anti-people “economic reforms” of the president. In its June 11 report on Nigeria, even the New York Times characterized the economic crisis Nigeria is going through now as its “worst crisis in a generation.” That’s a significant admission from one of the institutional mouthpieces of the West. Yet Tinubu and his minions insist that they won’t change course, that Nigerians must learn to live with superhuman pain for a supposed deferred gain that I am certain will never come. Plus, it’s a pain that the people inflicting it and explaining it away are totally exempt from" By Farooq Kperogi, 15th June, 2024. Thankfully the Prof. even made mentioned of some of you that doesn't believe on contrary opinion. You guys should continue turning it to ethnic joke, it would surely get to all of you soon, since voice of reasoning is difficult to accept by you guys. |

SwissMass:How is the clergyman being pessimistic? Can you show us the bitterness or hatred or is it the one in your heart you are referring to? Is there anything he has said that is not the truth? He said what Jesus taught him because he spoke the truth and the Bible says "you shall know the TRUTH" and the truth shall set you free". Obviously you don't want to be set free. As a clergy, his job is to speak that truth. Kindly assist in pointing out any lie the clergyman said |

Golan007:Should he shut up because he is an igbo man or should he shut up cos he is not telling the truth? What are the things were being tried over and over again? How is Nigeria on track? Is there any provision for "no pain no gain" in the constitution? Was it not the same "no pain no gain" slogan you guys were propagating during the buhari years? What was the gain in all the pain buhari inflicted? How will floating the naira and removal of subsidy strengthen the economy? Is Tinubu experiencing the pain you say he is inflicting on Nigerians? |
| Re: No Sign Things Will Change Under Tinubu –Archbishop Nwaobia ( Pic ) by IfnobeGod20(m): 8:57am On Jun 17, 2024 |
ogunsbanjul:Every right thinking people have been saying the same thing, only nitwits that see the handwriting on the wall but still say otherwise. Prof. Farooq Kperogi said same thing or is Prof. also an Igbo person. The way you guys ethnicised and religionised critical issues that affect poor people, including some of you is alarming and surprising. For the avoidance of doubt, this is what Prof. wrote about the same issue as below: "Vast swathes of Nigerians are being roasted alive, like never before, by the heartless, self-centered, and anti-people “economic reforms” of the president. Now, is Prof. Farooq Kperogi also an Igbo man for saying the above. You people should be truth even for once, you won't die if you say it and if you die saying the truth is better than dying telling lie. |

Are you saying that the buhari you ass licked for 8years left Nigeria worse than he met it? What has Tinubu done to that is "absolutely necessary to prevent the country from going bankrupt"? Pls what is the state of Nigeria now compared to may 29, 2023? |
