The bus driver couldn't start his bus as the ignition wasn't responding. However, like a doctor, the driver brought out a syringe and gave the bus an injection, and the bus immediately started.

The passengers couldn't hold back their laughter as they found this act both funny and strange.

To those with mechanical knowledge who understand how car components work, this act is not really rocket science.

The question is, if you were one of the passengers, would you still continue this journey?

for those of you who don't understand what happened there, that's diesel engine, there's something called heater plugs that heat the diesel to help combustion, in this bus driver situation, the heater isn't working therefore need some drops of gasoline to suff the engine, for accuracy, he decided to inject the gasoline with needle cos high volume of pms gasoline can create problem. With this system, the engine will start until it switch off again the need to also snuff it again

The bus na sickle cell patient so it needs constant injection and treatment.

Few drops of petrol in diesel engine will start it.

You are very correct. Alternative thing we use is Sheltos spray (mosquito spray) I once used a for transit diesel engine for a waste management contract with a multinational back then in Rivers state.

I once owned a Volkswagen LT28. Sold it off because of this same heater issue.

Diesel engines are great but this particular issue na their biggest turn off.
