Mecca doesn't need adverts for millions of people to visit every year from Umrah(less hajj) to Hajj even for documentary and research. Asking what's special about Mecca is dubious. Almost 17 million visited for Umrah alone in 2022, I wish we can have a place where 5 million foreigners visit in a year. It's the world largest gathering.
