Heard Nelson told the club he's considering leaving
Lol, he's not serious. So he's still considering?

This is someone that doesn't make match day squad when everyone is fit. He should be pushing his agent now to be looking for club already

Recall we have had this discussion before when we compared Jesus and Nketiah. We both concluded that Nketiah has a better goal per games ratio than Jesus and evn't en Havertz. And that it's because he focuses more on scoring while the others who play as false strikers focus more on chance creation.

Nketiah is the record goal scorer in England at youth level. That includes every British top striker you know today. I saw his potentials. He is 24/25.

We can agree on the fact that Arteta's formation or tacticsal pattern only allows for a false striker who must drop deep. That does not favour Nketiah. If Arteta changes his pattern to allow a true striker, Nketiah will bench both Jesus and Havertz.
You will always call youth level grin

There are many players that made it at youth level but couldn't cut it at senior level. Examples abound

Anyways, whether true striker or not, I don't see what you're seeing in Nketiah. He's not making that 9 his own at all.

Havertz for example I watched him keenly at Chelsea, I know he's good at playing 9 reason why I advocated that the best place to play him without us gnashing our teeth always is the Cf position (not midfield like we originally intended). He doesn't work hard like GJ (even though he does work hard) but one thing you'll agree with me is that you'll feel his presence in that Cf position. That's something I don't get to see from Nketiah at all. It doesn't matter whether he's a true 9 or a false 9.

I believe he's a midtable striker and there's nothing wrong with it

Wing strikers is even better cos they can do two Jobs (incase of injury, they can fit in). But then Isak is a no go area. Na Newcastle posterboy be that

Tbh, I'm more concerned about us getting Saka deputy and beefing up quality squad depth than us getting a striker

One reason I'm not obsessed with this striker hunt is primarily because I watched Mane, Firmino and Salah Frontline and we all know where the goals majorly came from. I'm more concerned about Saka's worthy deputy than any striker at the moment.

🗣️| Xabi Alonso opens up about his close friend Mikel Arteta:

🔸"I'm lucky to have a friend next door who is as crazy about soccer as me. His name is Mikel [Arteta]. We often talk about skateboarding, playing tennis at the beach, surfing and Of course, football too. That kid - even more crazy about football than me. He's a little younger than me and my friends - maybe just a few months.

🔸But, he is a competitive monster. He always wants to win, even if it's just a match on the beach. That's the kind of passionate love for this sport that no one can show you. You were born with it. That is the strong connection between us. And everything is still like that, until today...

🔸One month ago, I received a phone call from my old friend Mikel. And as usual, we still talk about football.

🔸He said, "Hey, we're playing Bayern Munich in the Champions League this week, what do you think about them?"

🔸I replied, "Well, we'll also play West Ham, what do you think?"

If you told us as children that each of us would lead Arsenal and Bayer Leverkusen for the next 30 years, I'm sure we would both be bursting with happiness and shock."

I saw a picture of both of them when they were much younger and they were almost looking like siblings, birds of a feather will always mingle together(they’ve both got Winning mentality and both are chemistry students if you get what I mean😂)

They will definitely win more trophies in their coaching career as both are still young and very good in their jobs.

Na Oyindamola and Rolan reply I Dey wait for like this😂😂😂

Yea... They can fill in on the wing as well as up front. I think I read somewhere that Newcastle needs to sell before they can buy.

We might be seeing Martinelli on the right more often next season. With Jesus deputising on the left for Trossard.

Lol... So are you saying Martinelli would be Saka's deputy?

Woww... Not bad if this is true but it's unexpected. Anyways, since it's like that, Arteta should use the opportunity to try and promote Dem duberry and Nwaneri. Him no really rate Carabao cup thus make him try Dem for there

Both have been friends from childhood gan gan. Reading about their lives one would deduce that both are born to be coaches. Na just trophies deh wait for Arteta own. Hopefully he'll get those trophies

That was from what I observed towards the end of last season o, I'm not the coach. Nwaneri is a midfielder, not a winger. Duberry? Heard he is leaving.

How did you guys see his performance vs England? Are you still convinced he'll fit in?

Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: The Red & White Army: 2025/2026 EPL Champions! by Jodera: 8:04am On Jun 17, 2024
Like I earlier said, this thing is overblown. Everyone knows Saka is their starboy

Mostob, see that same Telegraph that put on Saka's picture when England lost against Iceland. Same Telegraph put on his picture when they won(even though he didn't score).

All these things no be new things. Na people just wan bring racism card into this stuff that day.

Nb: I promised you that I would try and bring a picture when they win without him scoring yet he'll still be their posterboy. That's me doing just that. I'll drop my pen on this matter hereon.

He wasn't effective ystdy even when Serbia dominated proceedings in the second half.

Anyways, I won't even use that to judge him. It's just first game

Thiago Motta worked with Kiwior at Spezia. He recently got appointed as the new Juventus coach and now he wants Kiwior at Juventus.

Guess what the guy is offering Arsenal... grin grin grin

What if the backlash they received the last time reset their brain?
Mind you, there were people all over the social media that disapproved that post. I could have shared screenshots that time. They did well this time sha.
