Abiola was best friends with Ibb. They both had planned that their kids would marry each other then. Kola was dating the lady even before june 12. Mko winning june 12 was a fait accompli because yaradua who was sdps candidate had been banned together with others, as an old breed politician.

So, what did you expect kola to do? Kill the lady, when most of the tragedy that befell mko was brought upon by himself when he was sponsoring coups and running procurement rings with the Military.

IBB had step down since November 1993, he handed over to Late Shonekan before Abacha top the Shonekan government. It was Abacha that has killer squad not IBB. IBB did not kill Kudirat Abiola. So why would IBB wanted to kill Kola?
