So, is it that the FX backlogs were not in fact cleared, abi wetin we dey read again? Local airlines no include? ![]() |

I like the way Tinubu is tormenting Nigerians with poverty, hunger, corruption and insecurity, On your mandate we stand till 2031, make sure you must handover to Shettimma to continue from where you stop, Igbo's and Peter Obi must be talk a lesson,. |

all our government know is to force everything locally purchased as if we can manufacture anything, mumu people running government always quick to devalue and borrow for wastage no simple concrete plan to grow productivity , shutting borders but herdsmen everywhere can you beat such irony ? |

AqualinaXYZ:I laugh when I read such critic. You think it would have been easier for Peter Obi? Peter Obi would have had it much tougher. He would have had an opposition controlled senate and house of representatives to deal with. The oil subsidy removal issue would have simply been too challenging for him. He would also have been too academic in it's handling, something that required instinct. |

Can we challenge airline operators about this? We have a willing buyer willing seller forex market now. I just can't believe this story about unavailability of forex. Yes it may be unstable but not unavailable. How can you keep Naira with CBN for over one year hoping to buy forex? At what rate? If the complain is about backlog of forex not cleared (favouring international over local airlines), I can understand. But if it is inability to access forex, they should find another story to tell. A lot of these airlines are owing the foreign maintenance workshops and/or those that leased them aircrafts and will not fly those planes out in order not to lose them entirely. Let them tell us the real issues so we can face it. |
