Fubara briefs the press after a high-level meeting with security chiefs in the State

We have just finished a security council meeting and the meeting is because of the situation we are experiencing in the state.

You are all aware that the tenure of the Council Chairmen ended yesterday, 17th June 2024 and today, we have ordered the Heads of Administration to be in-charge and wait for further directives.

It's really unfortunate that we started hearing some disturbing news from some LGAs of invasion of council Secretariats and it's really really unfortunate so we have called a security council meeting so the needful can be done.

We are also aware that our enemy is also planning a lot of things but we will not fall into that boat where we will allow him or them to destroy the peace we are enjoying in this state.

Let me also say this I am also aware that there is a grand plan to come and arrest some of our supporters. This time around you have to pass through me to arrest them because I don't think there is anything any of those people following us have done rather than stand on the side of truth.

If it will cost us our lives to stand on the path of truth, we will do that and I will be the one that will carry this cross., let me assure everyone especially the great and peace-loving people of Rivers State.

The law is the law, the law has said there is no extension of tenure. The Court said so and whomever is assuring anybody anywhere that whatever, I advise them to desist from it because peace is what we need in this state. Please I assure all of you that whatever it takes to maintain peace and order in this state, we will not turn back on that.

Thank you for all you are doing for us, and the media people, you have really been on watch for us, we do not know anybody in Abuja, we only know the media in Rivers State and you have been doing very well for us.

I have taken a good look at what is unfolding in Rivers state recently and I have come to some conclusions.

Some people are interested in the destruction of the peace in Rivers state.

Those people have aligned with some powerful forcesbin Rivers state to cause division and rancor in the state.

They intend to milk the resultant mayhem that will ensue for their selfish ends

The oil wealth in this state is the target of these desperate people who are not from this state

It happened in IMO

It failed in Abia

It worked in Lagos

It nearly worked in Delta during Ibori

God help Fubara to steady the ship and have a bon voyage.

Tinubu is in south Africa galavanting why his home is on fire...

Tinubu is a plague sworn 2 drain nigerians...nd in no tym sm clueless brain dead brown roof republic will inscribe "Tinubu till 2027" while they and their families languish in abject poverty....
