Labour Party is a masses-oriented party whose policies are more likely to favour the masses. Akpata has spoken about his plans for massive job creation and infrastructural development in Edo state. He also plans to introduce welfare programs in healthcare, education and agriculture that will cushion the effects of the current nationwide hardship.

The other candidates are just a continuation of the current disaster.
