LG laws in all states are domiciled in the various States Houses of Assembly (I.e they enact, amend, repeal Local Government Laws, including Local Government Elections Laws whenever necessary). If you feel otherwise, then show me where the Nigerian Constitution or the Electoral Act talks about tenure for LG elected officials.

tell me what wike did to people that made him governor. See am a full omoluabi, but people said they don't want God father, then why want to be God father by fire by force. I can even say that it is only in Lagos state godfather is working well and that's why u can't see their secrets that out of 100% money entering Lagos government covers, only 30% of it are using to develop the state,while d remaining ones are diverting to personal use. If not. With d money Lagos is generating,I see no reason it can't compete with paris.

That's what I believe. But there's a way to respect someone who uplifted you, even without mentioning money.

However, in Africa, the moment one holds power, they suddenly have no regard for anyone, including those who voted for them or those who gave them a free ride to office.

When Wike had his CTC why did you not say it's not constitutional, please go and rest you have points, you want the governor to conduct elections when he was being threatened with impeachment here and there or when his case was still on From election tribunal to supreme Court.

Was Wike good enough when he was brought in by GEJ and his wife and handed over to Dr. Victor Odili as the candidate? Was Wike good enough when he became a federal minister? Wike was not good enough, but the people who introduced him were strong enough to secure the seat for him.

Why won’t you young men take your time to wonder why Wike brought a civil servant, of all the people available to make him the governor. Have you not wondered why Wike kept him in the government house why EFCC was looking for him? Have you not wondered where Fubara was for most parts of the election campaign?

Wike was never and is still not a master politician. He muscled his way and using his seat as governor, pushed away everyone around him, including the good. He engaged in unnecessary fights, while trying to make himself the political godfather in Rivers state. Now he has failed. Without Tinubu, Wike has become a political liability, even with the wealth.

So no political godson has the strength to get himself the seat. It takes people with the resources to get him there. When they leave the person, he’s gone. You saw the case in Lagos with Ambode. When the BAT and GAC turned their back against him, he lost the seat.

For your information, by virtue of their defection and subsequent declaration of their seats vacant, the 27 members are no longer members of Rivers state house of assembly, unless said otherwise by an appeal court. Consequently, Rivers State House of assembly has only 4 members and a quorum can and will be formed from the 4 members.

In any house of assembly anywhere in Nigeria, for whatever reasons possible that reduces the officially recognised house members to such a number that they cannot form a quorum (that is 1/3 of their number) their official day to day functions is constitutionally taken over by the national assembly until when INEC conducts election. Any functions the assembly carries out when it cannot form a quorum is illegal. So if a HoA has 21members, for it to function legally, there must be atleast 7members present at the time of sitting. Anything function made with less than 7members sitting, is an illegal function.

This is the second time I'm explaining same thing to you.
