** Your kids does not need ustraveldoc (CGI) profiles as minors, and thats why you are getting the duplication error whenever the email you used for them in Ds-160 is detected. Pls abadon the CGI profiles you have created for them.

** Do not cancel your own appointment but you will fill a new DS-160 in order to merge all of you together .

1. Now, start another DS-160 form for you as the principal applicant and the parent and after the final submission, do not exit the session. Then on the " Thank You" page that follows the confirmation page, you will see an option to create a family application. This 2nd stage will now complete some parts of the DS-160 for each of your kids by linking your VISA applications (DS-160s) together.

2. Now, go back to your own CGI portal and login, after logging in click on profile and update with your new DS-160 confirmation number from number 1 above then log out. Log back after 3 days in order to print out another VISA appointment letter.

3. With the number 2 above, you are now eligible to attend your present visa appointment alone and submit your kids visa application same day because they are excempted from interview as minors.

** Before number 1 above, you must have filled a separate DS-160 form for your kids with any new email addresses. And if the consular really want to see your kids physically you might be place on 221g and be ask to bring them afterwards.
Use another email for the kids. U can create for each of them.

In their initial Ds160 forms I had used my alternate email for both. But in trying to create a CGI Profile for them before I used their personal emails.

1. USA VISA procedure is a chameleon therefore, one has to keep updating. Naturally if you print out the new VISA appointment it should indicate the MRV receipt numbers of your kids, thereby confirming them as accompanying Persons. But your DS-160 confirmation number is the ultimate that merge all of you together so you do not have to worry just go with your own DS-160 confirmation.

2. Like i labelled USA visa application procedure as a chameleon that changes constantly above, yes it seems you will be taking the kids along and if reverse is the case they will wait for you outside the embassy. Either way round you will still follow the same procedures either you take them in or not.

3. Your VISA appointment slip is sufficient for all of you.

[color=#000000]1.[/color] In order to detect the culprit, go and fill another DS-160 for the kids and when you get to the email question use their individual email (which you must have created for them) if the request for email did not indicate parent or kid ....eg if the question is not parent's email " or children's email. Or write N/A ....does not apply if the email request is optional...that means indicate that they do not have emails.

[color=#000000]2.[/color] I think your attempt to create cgi profile for them was the culprit when the cgi profile detects your personal email thus showing up duplication error in your cgi profile. In all, you should be able to call CGI helpline after holiday.

1. No ! You do not need to pay another Visa Fee. Cool down and go through my explanation or call the CGI helpline.

2. You must fill another DS-160 in order to link your kids with you and after that go to your cgi and update the DS-160 and log out. Log back after 3 days to print a new visa appointment letter which is sufficient for all of you. You are to use a unique email address for your kids in DS-160. If you cannot grasp it let someone assist you. It seems you re not getting the explanation. Call the cgi first.

PS: You are even supposed to cancel that appointment and indicate your kids as your travel companion in your next appointment booking. But CALL THE CGI FIRST.

Hi, I think you are confusing yourself a little bit. We have explained in detail what you need to do. Please call the embassy again, carefully explain what you want then listen patiently while they walk you through it. Have their passports handy when you call.

Theres no question he didnt ask them yet denied most of them. He went as far as a calculating when they got their visa to when they gave birth to prove to them that they had the intention of giving birth when they were applying for their visas.

The man is something else. And it was just him that did all interviews for 221G today.

This is on the Nigerian Government and not the US Government. The economy is poorly managed and we have a weak currency. The Naira is currently a ridiculous means of exchange.
Prices of things elsewhere are relatively stable, it’s when you need Naira to buy USD-priced things High Blood Pressure and Tension Headache affect people.

Congratulations, any idea why you were first refused ? How long was your last visit to the USA.?

I want to express my sincere gratitude to all of you for your timely contributions to this trend.
I am currently in search of employment in the US from Nigeria here as a caregiver. However, most employers are stating that they cannot sponsor me to relocate. I want to assure any potential employer that I can sponsor myself to relocate and join their team if they offer me employment.

I have a few questions regarding this process:
1. If I am offered employment with the condition of sponsoring myself, how much will it cost me?
2. What would be the role of my employer in this situation?
3. Will there be an interview for me as a caregiver even with employment?
4. Which visa route will I be taking for caregivers?
5. How much must be in my account as proof of funds?

I would greatly appreciate it if someone could provide a detailed explanation and give me a clearer picture of the entire process.
