God has finally done it for me . 3 years worth of work came to fruition and I was able to japa to Chile . Sharing some pics from my trip and my everyday life on this thread. This is for those who think that south america is hell. Theres a lot of amazing countries in the world. You need to research and figure out what works for you. My flight was from Lagos to doha to Brazil and then finally to Chile. I didn't really start taking any pics until I got into Chile. I am sure you can find thousands of pictures about Brazil, Qatar or Lagos online but hardly anyone has posted anything about Chile.

I did over 200 interviews and had a ton of rejections but I did some interviews well that didnt lead to any offers. Weirdly, now I am getting those recruiters now reaching out to me for newer opportunities. I love my present job too much though. Its really the right fit for me at this point in time but its so funny. I remember when I was the one chasing the recruiters but now its reverse. Its kinda like when you are single and every girl you meet has a bf but when you eventually find a gf every girl is now single and ready to mingle

Sir good morning once again. I won't mention you again after this. I initially replied to your comment out of hope cause I was sacked early in the week due to downsizing cause of the economy as we were told, we weren't even paid half salary for the month. I even flung my sack letter in the company dustbin outside in anger. That was the day I even disturbed boss tensa to give me the token if you weren't interested. So seeing your comment sir for me to quote me was more of shock cause I know the country is really tough at the moment so it'll be hard to give that amount of money even if you are very rich, even if you sent it I wouldn't know until I came to nairaland cause it's the free daily mb I use even to talk to you now since I didn't get any severance pay before the lay off. I know you and tensa are not on terms but me being used as a punching bag between you guys really killed me sir cause I wasn't expecting your comment and had no choice but to hope even though I didn't initially believe it. But I understand that these are some of the things that one has to take to reach a better level in life and of course nobody owes me anything in life except myself. I'm sorry for my long post sir and do have a nice day.

I've enjoyed every bit of this thread including the vawulence. I read everything here inbetween the lines (I even know tensa's full salary)

I gave myself 6yr max for my japa plans and started another degree in information technology in national open University (currently in 300 level) while also learning coding. tensazangetsu20 thanks for the updates
