HeavenlyBang:My brother, add an additional 580watt panel to ur existing array n everything will hence go smoothly. I'm also using that brand n type of ur inverter and I have 5pieces of 400watt on it n on a good sunny day I use the system to power my 2kw electric kettle n sometimes inductive hotplate self, those two appliances draw 1,300+ from my panel n then draws additional 900+watt from my 5.888kwh lfp pack cos my freezer is always in use with any of the said appliances...but in a hot afternoon when I use my 1000watt philip iron + freezer, my battery will keep charging at around 100w+ while I consume 1.2kw+ from my panel for the said load... all in all, my 2kw panel have never gone above 1.365kw in this rainy season, though I'm yet to experience dry season harvest sha |

I greet the house. Please I just purchased a 1.7kva inverter now after my solar generator fried. Here’s my setup now: 2 panels (2 x 180w) 2 batteries (2 x 100ah{12v}) I want to add two more panels (2x180w) so it can fully charge both batteries. The problem is I don’t know what size of controller to purchase. Engineers in the house: What is the best size of controller to purchase, considering I might also add batteries consequently in the future… |

Edrizz:I plan to. Fwiw, outside of the times when it does these shenanigans, I get about 1100w from the panels. I'll add another 580w panel, though. |

Yes sure, the inverter got delivered to me today so far it look nice very quiet when working, the fan is temperature control it only comes ON on heavy load and still doesn't make much noise compared to my previous inverter and it is way more power efficient the inverter they make me feel like my 220ah battery don double to 440ah, the watt display on the screen is not too accurate. As for sellers here the issue is that they don't add prices along with what they are selling, I don talk am B4 put yr price along with what u are selling so that potential buyers can easily see if it is within their budget, not every serious buyers get time to call or message for price, AliExpress, jumia and jiji are all market place with different sellers prices are place along with every product u don't need to message a seller privately to get price of wat u want to buy. I don't understand what you mean by off grid unit , my former inverter that was killed by lightning was not an hybrid inverter but it can be charged by grid power and my house is connected to grid power Trippledots: |

I have a deal I'm cooking and would like to know if you are interested. Original decommissioned canadian panels. Capacities are up to 370W per panel. Full details will be available later. If you would be interested kindly indicate. Thanks. |

osayuwamwen:Mine has no connection with grid at all. Similar to this sachet one you just got. |

I agree with you on this, it is what am trying to explain to them, but in my case I think the lightning came through the panel it killed my inverter and controller what surprises me was that my Felicity controller has already gone to sleep, it was not even on but it still got hit by the lightning, though they were still able to fix the controller, na only the inverter require change of board bigrovar: |

osayuwamwen:Did you earth your panels? Just asking because during my initial install the installer didn't. I did it myself after the fact. When I asked, he said it wasn't necessary. But I knew better and had to sort it out myself. If you haven't, please do. |

FEGEITOK:How do you earth it please |
| Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by GloriousGbola: 1:33am On Jun 21, 2024 |
FEGEITOK:Do you also have a seperate lightning arrester? Because lightning should hit the arrester first |

Kingju:Connected to the building's earthing |

GloriousGbola:Currently? No. Will address this ASAP. |
| Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by GloriousGbola: 1:40am On Jun 21, 2024 |
FEGEITOK:this may be one situation where an active arrester is preferable to a passive one. |

jonescosmos:How can I reach you? How much should I budget for 15KW or the 25KW Felicity Lithium Battery? Inclusive of Shipping. How long does it take to arrive from China? |

I've not been able to see a comprehensive datasheet of this inverter online. My friend bought it about a year ago and he doesn't know where the manual is. He now wants to use it with the lithium battery and I want to find out from anyone that have used it before. Does it have flexible charging parameters that are compatible with the lithium battery? Does it have Lvd? I know most Pwm CCs can't charge lithium battery effectively

hello everyone, trying to make a decision between SRNE and felecity inverters.. for those who use SRNE inverters how would you rate it... are there service centers around lagos and does the company stand by its warranty claims |
