Greetings! I am the second-to-last in my family, and I am 38 years old. I am not yet married, and my four older brothers and sisters are not married either. Everywhere we go, people say there is a strong charm or curse responsible for this. I have spent a lot of money trying to solve this issue, but there has been no solution. Every time I talk about marriage to a lady, they reject me. I am fed up and really need advice or help on how to overcome this problem of delayed marriage and setbacks. 1 Like |

Kobojunkie:What is now the problem? The first son had a serious accident that nearly took his live immediately his master settled him and his leg was disfigured, he lost everything including the money to start up his business, the second son also had a similar serious accident nearly took his life, he was in the hospital for more than a year while undergoing treatment because of that he was not able to finish his career in the higher institution. The set- back and the delay in marriage is so obvious not just to me but to my siblings. |

Christian36:Life happens to people in different ways and at different times. Trying to judge the lives of those boys by comparing them with their those of others whom you deem successful is what is unfair. Imagine if both of them had been born autistic and needing care for all of their lives as a result, would you have been here to talk about curses and setbacks as well? The boys have been through serious rough times for sure but there are no curses or evil mumbo jumbo or religion nonsense after them. Let them continue to strive through it all as they should. That is what we are meant to do, not pretend there are set patterns to life and all that religious nonsense. |

Christian36:Next time you visit those so-called deliverance churches, take time out to honestly study those who you meet there. You will find that on top of their sufferings, many of which they have had for years, what many of the people you meet there have added to their booty is denial as well as the shackle of religious rituals. They are not different or better, in fact most are many times worse than the nonreligious pedestrian on the street because their level of suffering and smiling is amped up by the hope that someday they too will magically turn out like the many fantastical examples shown them by their pastors in their many advertisements. |

Christian36:Devotion to religion is why many are blind to reality of things. The very same miracles religious people boast only happen under their religious roof, the very same deliverance mumbojumbo happens out in the world outside of religion and at the same rate or even better. I watched one religious man corner some women into believing the reason they had babies after their wombs or fallopian tubes were removed was because of his prayers. Guess what, a bit of googling would reveal that those same miracles have been reported in the nonreligious space and on several occasions too. All the very same miracles happened to every day people who don't care for religion out there. So, if you are thinking religion has the answer, you are wrong. Religion only inserts itself into what is to scam people into believing it the way to the answers. It is a scam. Life happens to people at different times and in so many different ways. A friend of mine told me that I should never check my time using someone else's watch. You live in the west or away from religion and you will see much clearly how life never promised anyone and easy ride but one merely has to find a way to survive regardless of what it throws. That is what Scripture actually teaches and not that gobbledegook about a God who wants everyone to get married and have a career and children...that is not the God of Israel.
