So u want the clubs to miss their star striker to a tournament during December and January which implies that they might loose 10 important games

Here are all the issues.

1) You can't have AFCON and WAFCON in June/July in West Africa because of the Rainy Season.

2) Having AFCON and WAFCON in January and February often leads to club vs country issues with European clubs.

3) It's difficult to have AFCON and WAFCON in June/July in some years because it will clash with FIFA tournaments like the World Cup and World Club Cup.

4) Some European countries have Winter break in late December and early January.

Will Nigeria win the next AFCON? Hmmmmmmmm.
