I don't understand what you're saying. I witness Scotland referendum where the votes was very close.

UK govt is not holding the Scotland or Wales or Northern Ireland. Once any of these have the critical mass to push for a referendum, they'd allow them and if it succeeds, it succeeds
The UK government has always discouraged and prevented referendum call in parliament from happening.

You can clearly see that three of the top 9 states receiving the most cash from oil subsidy removal do not produce even a drop of oil! which is the commodity in question here.

Number 1 = Delta Gets N38.760 billion naira
Number 2 = Rivers Gets N27.244 billion naira
Number 3 = Akwa Ibom Gets N26.277 billion naira
Number 4 = Bayelsa Gets N19.69 billion naira

Number 5 = Lagos Gets N14.970 billion naira ~ Does Not Produce a drop of Oil !
Number 6 = Kano Gets N10.69 billion naira ~ Does not produce a drop of Oil !
Number 7 = Edo Gets N8.848 billion naira
Number 8 = Ondo Gets 8.590 billion naira

Number 9 = Oyo Gets N 8.485 ~ Does not produce a drop of Oil !

You can clearly see those reaping where they did not sow in Nigeria! Where are the oil-producing Southeast states among the top 9 states list??

There are more Igbos living in Lagos than Yorubas in the east

There are more Igbos living in the Kano than Northerners in the East

In a stable country this should not be so, one tribe should not have to depend upon another tribe for their survival, it tips the scale of power in favour of those they depend on...

That's why Oba of Lagos will threaten to throw Igbos to the lagoon if they don't vote for Ambode (even though Ambode was running against Jimi who is not Igbo) and nothing will happen...

Why the Northerners would pass all sorts of segregation policies disguised as religious laws...

Power does not seat on the throne, power is more complex than who has this title and who has that.

You can be the president and be powerless like Nnamdi Azikiwe

You can be the major general and be powerless like Aguiyi Ironsi.

You can be a mere regional governor like Ahmadu Bello and be running the entire country.

You need to rethink marginalization.

They are everywhere in all nook and cranny of this country.. even Sambisa forest, you'll find them there.

Ahmadu Bello described them too well.. give the Igbo an inch of your space, he'll try everything to take over and kick you the host out. Put them in a labour camp, they'll scheme to become the head man in that camp within a year over those that have been in the camp for many years. Is that not what we are witnessing today?

Their plan with Chinedu and Peter Obi is to usurp the political class in Lagos and displace Yorubas. Our Obas and Ijoyes would have become laughing stock pushed around in their domain by the Igbos.
What they don't know is that Eledumare and Oduduwa our ancestor are not asleep.

But Hausa are killing your masses and desecrating their bodies, but because they aren't chiefs and obas they can die

The Scots want to be part of a unified Europe, they don't want England, who are naturally Anti-Europe, to be determining where they should stand on that issue.

That is the basis of the latest bout of self determination/nationalism swirling through Scotland.

It's not necessarily a question of going against forcing unity per se, especially not in the same context as Biafran separatism.

I don't understand why you're insisting on being one country with people who do not wanna be in same country as you. There will be no unity of purpose hence no progress overall

How am I insisting anything, what power have I got?

Who doesn't want to stay can tell their senators to sponsor a secession motion. Thank God, Owelle is not around to kill it like he did before.
