The farmers in the village have seen how easy those working In the town and elsewhere in the oil industry, tech, entertainment e.t.c., make money and live quite okay. They also want that soft life.
No nation can farm their way into prosperity through subsistence farming with crude tools as Nigerians do. Even Buhari couldn't increase his cattle. If it was easy,he would have gotten an increase. Farming no be beans and cake.

First and foremost, you are making èmpty ñoisè and you don't farm sh*t.
No single farm has ever existed where the gains outweighs the efforts unless your yield is bad.
The issues with most of you is that u think everyone is making noise online like yourself, I own large farms in Nigeria here and I'm working to make a large scale agricultural company from it through a merger.
