The fact you are fortunate doesn't mean everyone else is fortunate, the way the economy is going now most present parents now wont even be able to plan anything for the future.

Abuja own even worst. I was paying 160k before for the self con am managing here in abuja that am staying. But now my landlord had increase it to 300k. He said all market prize is doubled and he needed to double is own. My area is one of the most cheapest in abuja o. Even with the 300% increase now 😔

Many landlords depend on rent for their survival. Naira devaluation reduced the value of naira more than 100%. Petrol price increased by 300%, food prices have also increased more than 300%.
Any landlord that increases rent is not a witch.

Inflation is not selective. The only witches here are the misleaders that made bad policies which caused the inflation.

Greed is not the opposite of benevolence.
The price of commodities and services varies with economic realities like inflation.
You didn’t increase your rent after 14years in Nigeria is not you being fair, you’re just benevolent. You cannot say those who have are greedy.
PS: Some of my tenants are still paying 2017 rent in my compound, if they decide to move out, I won’t give out the house at the same rate.

Problem we have as country is more sophisticated. It is a serious problem of under development and self sabotage that can not be prayed away! It has to be dealt with systematically and it may not be resolved for many years!
