Probably because it has not been put to use. Mind you, when equipments are installed, paints and other things are put on it, the weight may be too much for the foundation to carry. Additionally, people will be working there adding to the weight. The building may be at the tipping point shaa.
You funny ooo. When people are building on water, you're here say that place can't carry more than 5 stories. Any soil can carry as much floors as wanted, as far as the foundation is solid. Engineers excavate to stable soil then start their foundation.

No be today
That structure is abandoned for like 20 years now by the governor before Dave Umahi and before Elechi.

Small small dey lie. Was in Abakiliki yesterday, nothing has changed since he took over from predecessor.
What he or she listed are not road and buildings but human capital assets that are more important than the other ones Umahi did

See your useless mouth. Edo state has the highest or second highest diaspora remittances in Nigeria from abroad. Running to almost billions every year.

This lubricates their state economy and makes everyone have a job because abroad money keeps coming back due to their sons and daughters remitting money back home while hustling, or adding their siblings to their homes in abroad.

Yet you don’t want Ebonyi to have high diasporan remittances back to Ebonyi to lubricate the economy of the state.

Come to Ebonyi and contest for Governorship and deploy your own ideas.
Diaspora remittances, as per they pay to govt coffers or give govt loan... We are talking of direct investment in small businesses in your state economy that the state govt will tax, then recover the money back on loans and keep reinvesting it...

If e like make e stand for jubilee, if actually the foundation is faulty as he said nobody go gree park in there, probably the reason they don’t want continue the project.

Very good him to have considered human caputal development amd education, but the excuse is not enough considing how much bilion he is spending in renovating the new airport . That building needs to be put to use for the benefit of your state and we the southeastern people
Reconstruction not renovation.

The last governor sees every solid structure as requiring concrete so he did the tarmac with concrete without consulting.

Airlines have refused to use it citing the hardness of the concrete ad it impact on aircraft when they are landing.

The new governor is now spending billions to reconstruct the tarmac.

Meanwhile this much-taunted concrete road he carries everywhere like gala, the one he did in Ebonyi have started failing within less than one year of his exist as governor while the asphalt roads are standing.

This is the format he is now deploying to federal roads, nationwide... To reconstruct or rehabilitate concrete road no be beans..... Removing the sections that is damaged is another contract of it own

Go to Ebonyi and see the manual labour they are deploying to try and fix the bad portions of the Almighty concrete road in Akpoha area or even enugu Abakiliki road... I belive it is community boys that are in charge of the repairs

He’s not dull. That man has started out very well.
300 Ebonyians going for scholarship in STEM courses in the UK
700 Ebonyians going for scholarship in Nigerian universities within the country.
Completing Dave’s stadium and Vanco flyover.
Took back popular Ebonyi state university teaching hospital back from Federal Government.
Increased Ebonyi state university university monthly subvention to 280 million monthly from 150million.
Took in 1,500 Ebonyians into civil service
Paid gratuities accumulating from 1996 when state was created.
Increased civil servants salary and paid 100k last December to each civil servant.
Revamped internal street roads, changed diesel traffic lights to solar.

Remodelled 39 public secondary schools in the state
Employed doctors nurses pharmacists in the state general hospitals found in each local government and gave the doctors prado jeeps each.

Abeg Ebonyi governments naturally from time immemorial don’t like paying for media hype. If you don’t come to the state or visit you will not know what is going on.

That project built 20 years ago just has a structural design default, it just deserves to be demolished, if you reconstruct e go fall.
,he is dull and visionless,a man that abandoned abakaliki ring road project but wasting billions to overlay asphalt on abakaliki airport runway which is an acclaimed useless white elephant project

you are wrong

What about those that falls before roofing? Na weight still fall am?

20 years is a lot of test of times, if the foundation is faulty like state, that building would have long be gone.

Your other APC governors patch only roads in the state capital.

Otti understands the economic importance of good urban roads not only for state capital but for other cities in a state.

300 going for stem course in UK... Each costing over 50m... 50m × 300= 15B
Carry eboyin money Share over 50m each to 300 students that 90% will never come back to this country...
I am a travel agent so I know what it cost to go to the UK...
He should have given 1m to 15,000 small businesses from farming to manufacturing to different things in eboyin and watch eboyin prosper in the next 3-5yrs...

That 15B is gone a waste... No sane person will go to the UK on scholarship and come back...
You claim to know everything but you cannot spell Ebonyi, which state in Nigeria is eboyin? You know everything but failed to know Ebonyi is a proper now and you should capitalise the first letter while writing it.

Iti bolibo!
