Alhaji Ali Modu Sheriff, former Governor of Borno State, has joined the list of prominent northern politicians visiting former President Muhammadu Buhari in Daura, Katsina State, within the last 72 hours.

The visit follows closely on the heels of a visit by former Kaduna State Governor Nasir El-Rufai, who met with Buhari 24 hours prior.

El-Rufai’s visit came just a day after former Vice President Atiku Abubakar visited Buhari.
Before meeting Buhari, Atiku also visited former Nigerian military presidents Ibrahim Babangida and Abdulsalam Abubakar in their homes in Minna, Niger State.

These successive high-profile visits have fueled speculation about a potential strategic alliance across party lines ahead of the 2027 general elections.

.tinubu should forget about second term because it will never happen. The south will never support him neither the north this time around.

Nobody from South will rally round Tinubu only Yorubas will rally round him. How can you be a Southern president and all your major appointments come from only Southwest .

In fact Buhari was king of nepotism and he distributed his appointments round Northwest, North east and North Central got the smaller share but Tinubu being the King bigot concentrated his appointments to majorly Yoruba, now the North are conspiring only Yorubas got your back. That Akpabio and Wike are not respected without their money even with their money they command almost no relevant loyalty.

You don't have the Militants behind you, Tompolo contract is not enough to buy their loyalty.

If you are kicked out in 2027 I will blame you and only you. If Peter Obi is used to get Vice Presidency majority will hate it but they may buy it because it gives some section of the country an 8 year period to get the Presidency whereas a second term Tinubu Presidency will mean 12years for the Igbos. Its unfortunate that Tinubu is not a man worthy to be fought for by anybody that is not Yoruba, if not their gangup will be in vain, but then, Tinubu really goofed.

You claimed you want Southern Presidency, late Gov Akeredolu campaigned vigorously for it, albeit deceiving the rest of the South, you got it and decided to throw your biggest Southern brothers under the bus and some of your senseless tribesmen are clapping for you foolishly thinking life is all about winner takes it all.

You just filled every vital and available political positions with Yorubas as if Southern Nigeria means Yoruba.
