Please why do we call akpu fufu, this is a food invented by the igbos with original igbo name but everybody is now calling it fufu instead of it's real name akpu .
It is unfortunate that igbos are not good in promoting their own language but will be in forefront of promoting that of others.
All Yoruba invented foods go by Yoruba name like ewedu, gbegri, Amala, oforiro etc while our own are called draw soup, bitter leaf soup,
Fufu, melon soup.

Only ora that seems not to have English name is called by its Igbo name with nsala

Yorubas are beating us in this psychological game with most of their words added in English dictionary. We should wake up.
