Super Eagles Job...Super Eagles Job....

WHY NOT WALDRUM?

Since some characters are flying the kite of Herve Renard as Head Coach of Super Eagles, I dare ask, Why not give the job to Super Falcons Head Coach, Randy Waldrum?

Yes you heard me right, loud and clear...Randy Waldrum!!! What is the difference between six and half a dozen? Renard is handling the Women's national team of France and Waldrum is coaching our darling Super Falcons who by all standards have done well and are still doing brilliantly well under him.

Don't bother to tell me that the NFF had debunked the rumour about Renard. Even if true, we all know that a chieftain of the same NFF mentioned Renard when the vacancy was declared and adverts placed for qualified applicants after Jose Peseiro resigned. No smoke without a fire.

Since the NFF are obsessed with foreign coach, Waldrum isn't a Nigerian neither is he black. He is eminently qualified if we go by NFF's criteria and standards.

Here is a coach who perhaps should know Nigeria like the back of his hands having spent four years on the job as Super Falcons coach. The enemy you know is better than the friend you don't know, they say. Isn't it better the NFF works with someone they have known for four years than try another stranger?

At least Waldrum who must have been following the Super Eagles closely should know the team and it's players. It would be easier for Waldrum to understand and work with the players with less stress or friction.

He knows the Nigerian environment and understands the attitude and mindset of the NFF. It will be easier for him to work with any coach to be appointed as his assistant preferably Salisu Yusuf who has been around the NFF for ages.

Waldrum will jump at this offer with lesser pay knowing that it is more of an elevation. The opportunity to handle the men's national team of Africa's most populous black nation is a golden one which he won't want to slip by.

As an American, perhaps the relationship between Nike, the kit sponsors of Nigerian Football Federation (NFF) and the later may be strengthened.

Kindly note, Yours Sincerely isn't a supporter of foreign coach for any of our national teams. I remain a die-hard advocate of indigenous coaches for our national teams.

The reason behind this piece on Waldrum is for the NFF and especially those flying the Herve Renard kite, to look into their sokoto to find what they want to travel to Sokoto for...

Since the NFF are addicted to foreign coaches, they should do the needful to save Nigerians the stress of another delay in hiring the national team coach. The next AFCON qualifier is around the corner, September to be precise. The choice is theirs.

😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 I laugh in Swahili....

Do you want our already super fowls to start behaving like sissies?

The truth is that the problem with this our current set of super eagles squad is that the players aren't representing the flag with seriousness......

If NFF like, make Dem hire Pep Guardiola to come coach this particular set of super eagles squad,I bet you,say na ordinary warri wolves team- B go disgrace Dem..

He would fail miserably. You'll end up running both our mens and women's teams.
