You can argue without changing his narrative. Where did he say the monies should be diverted to consumption? Or is human capital development and credit facilities for SME consumption?
budaatum:
That's not a reason to divert trillions to consumption. Besides, you can't just stop infrastructure projects that were began years ago. And while they may not seem to add to gdp, many actually do.

Lagos-Ibadan Expressway is a case in point. We'd leave Lagos at 5am and not arrive in Ibadan till noon before it was built, but its now opened up access to places you never could get to, and barring god worship, Lagos to Ibadan is an hour.

We don't have enough light. We don't even have the knowledge to let there be light even if we say it. I'd invest in that infrastructure if me. Nigerians would do wonders with cheap always available power.

I said credit facilities for SMEs will be consumed, since they'd mostly be used to pay off existing debt that has already been consumed.

Human capital development is education, which Obi and I have advocated. If our schools were any good, I'd even advocate student loans, but they are pretty useless if one can pay someone else to sit one's exam.

If mrvitalis doesn't tell me why he called Peter Obi a fool and thief in 2017 and then turned to call the same Peter Obi his Lord and personal saviour in 2023, there is nothing he is saying that I want to listen to.

mrvitalis:
We can take loans and increase tax but the president must lead by example and must use the loan well if not we are done
With this, I do agree.

In fact, my hope is our current president use his accounting skills a bit more to show where our money comes from and goes. I'm however not holding my breathe.

We don't deserve such a clown and he will never become our president,if he likes let him contest million times,he will fail million times also.
I prefer things get worse that everyone would prefer breakup. Better to separate than suffer under one Nigeria

The Kenyan youths are the real patriot. Such protest will not succeed in Nigeria because some people will say they want to destroy the government because they lost the election.

It would have been a fair analysis but you destroyed the whole article where u mentioned Peter Obi.
Its easier to stay on the byline and start propounding theories that even if things go awry, you'd never be held responsible for anytihng

Not even Tinubu thought it would this hard at first until then he got there and see it the way it really is. He quickly doled out some policies that he thought would work like magic(cause thats his thoughts from the outside as a mere citizen or a past Gov of Lagos state) but now, he knows better and just realized he has to keep tweaking to get better result

No dey use the random opinion of person wey no dey Govt again to judge, thats not logical in anyway, considering the fact that Anambra didnt become the Economic hub of the Nation under him

Resist the urge to compare. U don make the whole topic go tasteless with this Obi proposed theories sad
Neither did Tinubu turn Lagos to economic hub of the nation yet you call him an Economic expert. We can see how his expertise is going.
You need to orientate yourselves to divorce policies from personalities. The moment you can't do that, your education is worthless.

It's foolishness that makes you pretend not to love the igbos. Wise and normal people don't love what they hate. Once they hate a thing, they do without it. But you people, u don't want the igbos to go and u hate them. Ndi anu ofia.

If you claimed not to be in love with igbos, why were you jubilating in lagos after the biafran war ended in 1970?
One of the placards reads, "Hail One Nigeria, Ibos welcome. grin
You know deep down that u envy igbos which brought about your hatred for them but you can't do without them. Lol!
