mrvitalis:OK, but my point still stands. Most GMO are for increased yield and not increased nutritional value. My preference is for naturally grown food and so i would not knowingly advocate for widespread use of GMO even if majority of the food we have now are GMO. |

By 1200 AC Oduduwa was still not fallen from the sky to become the progenitor of the oduduwa people linage. So the story didn't add up. |

Good study but Ife should not trust these people. They always have an underlying agenda behind their diggings. This is how they starting digging out our ancestors in Egypt exposing the history and sectets of the gods, pharaoh and queens and rewriting African civilisation to favour Europe. mrvitalis:That’s bull! There has always been enough for mankind. GMOs have zero nutritional values and was only engineered for the rich Europeans/Americans to continue monopolising the agricultural industries while economicallly enslaving the have-nots. Before GMO, did you and your family starve or did you hear of people dying all over the streets and villages due to food scarcity? It’s baffling how some of you Africans cannot reason beyond anything your oyibo masters feed you mentally and now agriculturally!!! |

Pay him no mind! Some of our African brothers are really dense. Imagine a disenfranchised African supporting zero nutritional value GMO food when there is enough arable land with millions of manpower to grow and cultivate real organic food. These foreign billionaires who introduced GMO dare not consume it themselves, rather they pay high prices for organic food items. Sangoamadioha1: |

mrvitalis:Nigeria once did, in huge commercial quantities, apparently. I think it may have been in the 80's or early 90's. I read it as a youngster and believe this is true. Nigeria also was harvesting huge quantities of prawns. Nigeria exported all these to America. Eventually US began to put pressure on Nigeria to cut down on wheat production due to balance of trade issues. And due to the threat Nigeria's prawn export was thought to be causing US producers, Nigeria's prawn export was slapped with being contaminated and stoped. Ironically the US now import prawns from India that are reportedly contaminated without sanctioning them. |

One can now conclude, from this discovery, that climatic change didn't start today as climate change proponents would have us believe - it means the west African region was colder those days than it's now and we can go back to those days again. |
