After standing on the sidelines for many years to lead the cry for restructuring to weaken the federal government in favour of the states, people thought that the emilokan crook will make a detour in the political trajectory of the country now that he has absolute power but it seems that Tinubu is rather engrossed with the power of Aso rock that he is focused solely on appointing Yoruba up and down to consolidate power like Buhari did. He has jettisoned the Oronsaye report that would have cut away needless waste in the federal administration so that he can appoint more of his Lagos cronies while the FG wage bill balloons to unsustainable proportions.

You don’t talk while eating

It is always easy to cook vegetable with one's mouth

Things of more importance like new national anthem, VP's residence, Lagos Presidential lodge renovation, new jet, new tyres, new minimum wage are being given strict undiluted attention

Restructuring, fiscal federalism and devolution of powers can wait untill the end of the administration

Of the 10,000 problems we currently have on ground calling for the attention of the FG, u think restructuring that would prolly take few months to to complete the process and actualize, is what u want him to keep pushing everyday

One doesnt need to study psychology to know you'd be a very terrible administrator. Your first line shows your level of shallowness

That’s what they do, they wait till after election is conducted in their 8 year and new government is coming, they now implement changes ahead of May 29th new Inauguration of President, the previous 8 years are solely for enjoying the ultimate powers and influence in FG and they do changes (positive), and hand over to next administration to bear the criticism.

Tinubu will still devolve powers to Local government but expect that when it’s 2 months to end of his 8years tenure.

This explains why our politicians say all the right things when they are looking for power but do exactly opposite when given that power.

You’re right. But Tinubu won’t want to do them now and implement them while he’s on power because it strips him of so much powers. So that’s the crossroad

Doing it now and Implementing it now and losing your federal authority versus enjoying your federal authority for 8 years and doing it at the end of your tenure while next govenrment barely follow it up
