This is where I agree with Izzòu that he is honest. He has made the case easier for both counsels . First he admitted to domestic violence, then he made us know she did nothing. That way we don't have to assume she wasn't giving him peace of mind. Baba did what he wanted to do.

if the wife is my sister, I will explore every legal angle to make sure she get a cut of the wealth he has built within the past 14 years they were together. It is obvious the marriage has broken down and fences can't be mended anymore

I think it wasn't fair for Jarus to proceed with the divorce based off seeing his wife do juju sha, but I can understand reacting the way Jarus did if you're the very religious type.

And that is the main reason why I don't fault him on the divorce decision. What if babalawo had given the wife charms that would have killed him or rendered him physically or mentally incapacitated? The things with going into fetish stuffs is that once you get sucked in, you go in deeper and not even your kids will be safe at some point. Very valid grounds for divorce IMO. I am surprised it is after 14yrs he is giving her money to buy land and mentioning the things he has done in bulk. The woman suppose vex na. 14yrs she has been playing the understanding wife game, all for one small girl to overtake. He shouldn't have allowed it get to this point.
