Chioma and her family shamelessly packed themselves to force her on Davido in his father's Parlour because they know no man in his correct senses can make her a wife, even Davido. Even after being given as a worthless sacrifice, he still refused to marry her. He made her to wear fake ring for a whole 2 years even after children to save face and pretend to be married. Even after they did, Marriage or Snipper, The Adelekes still choose an hotel in Lagos for them to come and they still agreed out of desperation.
No Yoruba woman or family can debase herself and her family to that level just to get married.
How many Anambra family allow marriage from Imo, not to talk of an outsider? You supposed to commend them for embarrassing all tribes.

The highest you see is just introduction compare to igbo men. An average igbo men knew that if they didn't marry their wives properly the children belongs to her family not his. Yoruba also practice polygamous marriage unlike Igbos. They marry more than one woman but ordinarily they can't take care of one woman. It doesn't cost yoruba men anything to throw away his wife load outside because he married her cheaply and he knew he can get another one cheaply. Unlike igbo men. Apart from the fact that igbo men are much more committed and responsible in marital affairs. They will never exhibit such behaviour of throwing their wives out with her properties. They understand what they went through before marrying her.

My advice for yoruba women willing to settle with a yoruba man. Firstly, did the guy love you dearly? Is he educated? At least first degree? Is his parents still together or divorce? Don't marry a poor Muslim guy o!! You go suffer eh! And they believed once they get small money na to replace the first wife. How does his father treat his mother? Avoid Muslim guys if you know you can't share your husband with another woman. I believe a Christian yoruba lady that open her eyes wide open to marry a Muslim guy should know what she has signed for. And for the Muslims ladies that doesn't have a choice but to settle with a Muslim guy. Make sure he's very much educated and well exposed, raised topics pertaining to polygamous and hear his views. Not all Muslims guys like marrying more than a wife though but you cannot guarantee that because it is permitted in their religion reason why it's better to avoid them completely like a plough.
