JuanDeDios:President of you and who? |
| Re: Nigeria To Buy Foreclosed Aircraft From German Bank by RenaissanceGuy: 1:59pm On Jun 29, 2024 |
We're pricing a tokunbo jet for $100m and we're saying it's good bargain?? Why would any sensible country purchase a used plane for $100m when you can get a brand new one for less?? |

Beremx:you think you are not contributing? |

PressMyButton:a plane is not what the country needs now and certainly not with taxpayers money. |
| Re: Nigeria To Buy Foreclosed Aircraft From German Bank by Bizibi(m): 2:00pm On Jun 29, 2024 |
Sheuns:a used plane can't even be sold thrice or twice the amount..... As for research to buy the pj,they know what they're doing, nor be politicians in Nigeria. |

| Re: Nigeria To Buy Foreclosed Aircraft From German Bank by bitbillionaire: 2:03pm On Jun 29, 2024 |
Beremx:LoL. You are contributing for the aircraft aunty. Every damned thing you buy in the market there is tax added to the price (especially the imported items), are you aware you are paying tax on every phone call you make and every data you buy? You are paying some tax whenever you pay for most of the services you are enjoying on daily basis. Moreover, if you are from Niger Delta a large chunk of that money is bound to come from Niger Delta oil. A money that could have been used to develop Niger Delta region. |
| Re: Nigeria To Buy Foreclosed Aircraft From German Bank by Hezmatosky: 2:04pm On Jun 29, 2024 |
RenaissanceGuy:Go back to the story, it's not a used plane. If not for one thing, one thing, the owner never ready to sell am o. So, probably more like new one. Except the birthdate proves otherwise. |

.........but is scrambling for funds to consummate the transaction..... African leaders, very unfortunate set of human, sorry sub human I mean. Well, let the in house typists and 'sane Nigeria' start battling with their keypads trying to defend a personality that needs no defending. |

| Re: Nigeria To Buy Foreclosed Aircraft From German Bank by The1960writer: 3:12pm On Jun 29, 2024 |
Beremx:Well, I wish that were entirely correct. You are contributing in one way or the other through taxes: either through the direct tax or the indirect tax. Who do you think indirectly pays for their lavish lifestyles, including the servicing of the debts they've incurred? You and I, through public funds which are partly sourced from taxpayers' money. When a Valued Added Tax (VAT) of a commodity or service is increased, you get to pay more for that commodity or service and in that way, you are putting more of your money in the hands of the government. |

Hezmatosky:This is not a very sensible response. If you're Nigerian, then you and me have the same president, who's going to be using the plane (irrespective of who that person happens to be at any time). If you're not Nigerian, then you know whoever your president is. |
